Ji Seung Yeon dreams of becoming a hip-hop legend and unexpected events set her on the path to achieve just that, although there is an added obstacle - she has to dress up as a boy in order to join a male idol group. In the process, she meets Kang Woo Hyun, the leader of the popular idol group, M2, who captivates fans with a killer smile that masks his rude and selfish personality.

I really considered watching KPOPTUA until I read that we've got another gal disguising as a guy, it sounds like You're Beautiful meets Mendol. Not actually it sounds very similiar to You're Beautiful. Is it a remake or just trying to get some fame? Anyway I just watched the trailer and figured two things: 1. It's not easy to disguise a girl as a guy (Don't you see that she has "something" up there?) 2. One of the guys reminds me of Kim Hyun Joong I am afraid that sounds pretty negative, but I am actually having some hope left. :)

Actually, it's not that hard. People in real life can be ignorant a**es that assume in a quick glance that you are a guy. They see short hair and a loose shirt and label the person as a guy. I'm speaking from personal experience here. When I had my hair short, I got called sir a lot.

But seriously in dramas they usually have more than one quick glance and it takes years for them to figure it out. :p

I didn't say anything to them. If they are willing to be that quick to judge, then they aren't woth the time it would take to explain :p And I see what you mean, but I had a friend who had the same problem. We were doing summer camp with the YMCA. That's about two and a half to three months with the same group of people. And a bunch of them thought she was a guy right to the very end. SMH Just on the simple fact that her hair was short and she wore loose shirts and shorts.
