And I can't forgive myself for starting this thing, because now I obviously want to know how it's going to end but without going through the pain of watching.
Eun Gi is, in my book, the most insufferable, frustrating and annoying female ever created. Honestly, I could start slapping her now and stop by the end of the year, if ever. I understand she suffered serious brain injuries a year before, but memory loss does not equal suddenly losing all possible common sense. She was aware of her being impaired after an accident, and yet, she NEVER asked anyone for some explanation. She never asked what she did before, what kind of person she was, nothing? She had a front car crash inside a tunnel, and yet there's no record of it? The police didn't write a report? An accident like that would be reported by the local newspaper in my country, but apparently not in Korea.
Needless to say, everybody's lying to her, again for reasons I fail to understand. Honestly, the only satisfactory moment for me was Jae Hee speech when she go visiting her at her house. Jae Hee might be the villain, but what she said was very true, and to the point: "if you had treated me and my son like humans, we would never have gone this far".
Well, skin me alive if you wish, but I must say it: bravo Jae Hee.

My problem with this drama, apart from the ridiculously absurd plot, is the female lead. She was disagreable before the accident and she's nonsensical and irritating after it.
It's time for me to face it: Joon Ki's butt (and rest) IS the only saving grace of this show. Not even is character is pleasing to me.

If they do a spin off about Choco and the beanpole let me know: I'll watch that one.

End or rant.

Viewers complain about errors and product placement in ?Nice Guy?

Viewers have apparently been frustrated by the amount of product placement and errors on KBS 2TV?s ?Nice Guy?.

During one scene, Song Joong Ki?s character received a phone call and heard some shocking news. While he was slowly putting the cell phone back down, viewers couldn?t help but notice that the phone was being held upside down.

That wasn?t the worst error, however. Viewers expressed their dislike of distracting promotional products in serious scenes.

Moon Chae Won?s character wanted to go the beach because of a photo she saw on Song Joong Ki?s phone, but the present she received were hiking clothes. She then wore the hiking clothes to the beach. The viewers accepted that hiking clothes could be worn in an everyday manner, but the biggest annoyance they found was with the phone.

Moon Chae Won took a total of eight photos as soon as she got to the beach. Viewers commented that the loud shutter noises disrupted the sad scene. Not only that, but detailed camera angles taught viewers how to turn the phone on, find the camera, take photos, and save them.

Viewers complained, ?I?m not saying product placement is bad, but that was sort of random?, ?All you had to do was take one, but was there a reason to take 8 photos? I was surprised?, and ?Hiking clothes are okay because they can be worn everyday, but this isn?t a cell phone CF? This is too much?.

Despite their concerns, the drama has topped other shows in its time slot.

Have those of you who?ve been watching ?Nice Guy? noticed the same issues? - allkpop
All caught up now. Luckily I didn't marathon this or my brain would've exploded. Part of me hopes ***Eun Gi doesn't take the CEO position***.
haven't noticed the phone... maybe I was super hooked to the extent that I didn't even look at the phone. So does this mean that I'm not a critical watcher?
On Episode11 part4 when SJK was playing the harmonica... I remembered the tune right away, it was the same tune Lee Wan whistles all the time, which Park Shin Hye recognizes right away once heard, in Tree of Heaven (one of my fave drama).

I noticed none of those either. I did notice what seemed like a Converse product placement in one of the episodes where Eun Gi and Ma Ru were in Japan.

Ditto...haven't noticed it. I find it hard 2 believe that viewers actually allow themselves to be frustrated/express their dislike over something so minutiae.

I agree. It's like watching a view with an elephant (the plot), a horde of rhinos (the characters) and a foul weather (the depression) and noticing the one and only mosquito.

Thank you. :D Mostly for not grilling me. ;)

I did watch episode 15 after all. Well, perhaps watching is too pretentious a word, since I fast forwarded more than half of it.

SPOILER AHEAD!!
I did see the kiss at the end though, which in the mind of the direction should work as a saving grace. And I'm sure it does - kisses usually have this effect. A pity is was the carbon copy of the one seen on episode... whatever. While I could have appreciated the parallelism, with Eun Gi accusing him of having lied and MaRu maintaining this is their first kiss, I wanted to see the difference. I wanted to see Maru's change of heart translated in that kiss. Instead, what I got is Eun Gi ONCE AGAIN keeping her eyes open in surprise in your average Korean drama fish kiss, and him doing all the job.

Yes, at this point I'm so negatively biased towards this drama I can't see anything pleasurable about it. I am still watching this because I so want to write a review. I also want to see whether the ending will be what I forsee. This drama could even redeem itself, if what I imagine will NOT happen.

Oh my, I'm laughing so much now! They even showed in detail how to save pictures? LOOL.
Nothing pisses me off more than loong dragging scenes created only for product placement purposes. It's ok if they try to sell something to viewers in a subtle way but sometimes sponsors go waaay overboard.
Oh man, I just finished ep 13-14 (I know I am behind but bear with me because I just went out of a cave). What the hell is this? Why do I feel like my patience level is starting to bug me (especially at ep 14)? Eun Gi became my most hated character for this drama, really! Even though I didn't like her old self that much but at least I liked her b**chy behavior, it became really hard for me to keep it up with this scardy cat character! I hate it to the core, everything about her is playing on my nerves, I don't feel at ease to see her going aroung like that. She will remember, she won't remember, she will remember, she won't remember,... I think I should hold a flower and play that game!! Either you remember or you don't!! What's with changing behavior then coming back to normal after one night sleep? That's too freaking stupid! Ma Ru isn't helping either, his character began to make me feel annoyed too; so you want to make her strong then die?! You want to let her have Tae San then leave yourself to death? If that's the ending then everyone witness this: I will stop watching Asian Dramas for three months!! (A big sacrifice, I know). All I want to know is: how the hell is this going to end!! Phew! I need to get my feelings straight in order to watch the remaining episodes.
Rou, let me lend you a sympathetic shoulder to cry in frustration on, but most of all and completely out of topic: your avatar is wonderful!!! :D
