OK, I'm still in the middle of episode 11, but I had to come and comment on two things:

1) How much does the 80s kid in me love that they used the theme song to The A-Team for the helicopter scenario? She loves it A LOT.

2) The whole Jeju Island promotion stunt is cracking me up. Basically, if you guys don't know, there's a vote going on to select the new Seven Wonders of the Natural World, and Jeju Island is a contender: http://www.new7wonders.com/. I've already cast my vote back in April when I first heard about this, and being the good American that I am, I voted for the Grand Canyon. However, after seeing how much effort the writer went through to promote Jeju, I've decided to throw Korea a bone and cast a vote for Jeju.

1. I knew I heard that music before, but I couldn't pinpoint where I heard it before.
2. Oh! That's still going on....I voted a while for "El Yunque"
Edit: a while ago*
I just logged in and saw my votes. I had also voted for the island when I casted my vote for PR's El Yunque. :D

I think the helicopter "joke" and the conversation in the car about the meaningful beverages were about the only good/okay scenes in this episode but other than that? There's not much to praise, really.

I didn't like the way Gi Joon was showing off his power and connections and language skills and winning Ah Jung to his side that way. I've seen it before so many times but somehow it just annoyed me this time.
And the scenes with Western actors - so stupid somehow. (Actually I hate watching the scenes with Western actors in every other drama, too, since those scenes are always so stiff and unnatural that it's hard to watch them.) Even the getting-to-know-each-other conversation about dead parents was quite boring. The final dinner scene, on the other hand, was too sugarish to my liking. Yes, Ah Jung's dress was pretty but the scene felt so stiff and too grand and ceremonious for this couple. The whole scene was very slow-paced and simply lacking the electricity and chemistry - something that was in missing in many other scenes of this episode as well. The dialogue wasn't that great either.

Despite my disappointment I'm still looking forward to the subs for ep 12. Maybe I was too harsh and this episode had some good in it - if so, please remind me of that because I'm just feeling very disappointed right now and I, too, want to ask the writers: "What did you do?!"

I agree--this (what I bolded) bothered me as well, but for a different reason. I don't think he was trying to show off to Ah Jung in a shallow attempt to sway her; I think he was genuinely trying to help her accomplish the task assigned to her, and did so the best way he knew how, which was to do the macho business networking thing with golf and power talk, etc. My problem with it was that he seemed so patronizing, very "Now now, little woman, let the men talk and do business---don't get in the way and everything will turn out right." I mean, like, dude, we've already seen during the whole international conference fiasco at your resort that Ah Jung is more than capable of doing her job, so LET HER DO IT. I get that he was trying to open the door for her, but he just completely took over, leaving Ah Jung to trail after him with her paper load. Until she finally put her foot down and decided to take charge. Blegh. That showed up Gi Joon a bit, but still... Annoyed.

On a more superficial note, I think I'm the only person who didn't drool over that dress, at least with the way it fit her---Yoon Eun Hye looked like she was drowning in it. =/

I think the dress was pretty, but would have been much prettier had it been a little shorter. It seemed to me as if it wasn't supposed to be that long. Something about it didn't feel right. But the design was pretty though.

The thing which really bothere me was the back.

I'm watching episode 12 and I just had to make a comment...

Are those stairs...? LOL
lolz... that exactly what i was thinking..... but i guess he was just a little too impatient :P .. hahaha i watched 11 n 12 episodes but i have mix feelings ... i mean why the whole candle light dinner didnt impress me much ?? i have no clue... also , i am a bit annoyed with Sang hi (is that name right? :P ) falling for the same girl "rolleyes"
I was laughing so hard that I didn't care about the whole scene aftwerwards.

Also, I really don't like Yoon Joo, have some self respect woman. Why is she still playing victim, is not like he lied about liking Ah Jung? And why did she have to follow them to Jeju Island? She needs to move on and she really needs a hobby...

I just told Sang Hee, "Don't worry baby monkey, noona is here"...lol
i dont like yoon joo ... >_< she is being a littile too pitiful in my opinion ... i dont feel sorry for her anymore ...

lolz... lollllll that made me really laugh out loud :P ...
SBS’s “Lie To Me” suddenly replaces scriptwriter Kim Ye Ri
The last script written by Kim Ye Ri was the 10th episode [she quits because health reason], which aired last week, and writer Choi Yoon Jung filled in starting with the 11th episode. Because of the sudden replacement, netizens questioned if the change occurred because of the declining ratings.

I stopped feeling sorry for her a while ago. But I'm wondering if I ever did feel TRULY sorry for her...lol

@LadyV.....I read something relating to that a few days ago, which makes me wonder if that's the reason why the drama (although it's sort of cute at times) has become so cheesy.
EDIT:

...something related to that...
@LisNoir: Some parts in ep.11 still funny, but i felt none in ep.12. Let's hope there will be ROFL scenes from upcoming episodes coz there're 4 more episodes left T.T
Sang Hee should have his own happy ending in this drama, coz he's the connector of HGJ & GAJ to be married verbally. Fairy God-Mother or Fairy SangHee :D

So I wasn't crazy afterall... I really didn't get the sudden change in pacing, humor, characters attitude. Now I know why and I'm not blaming the actors but the writers. After finishing episode 12, I can declare I'll be watching this only for the sake of finishing the drama now. Such a waste!
