I agree with you. It didn't suck, but I don't think it is worthy of a 10 rating. I gave it a 7. It had a lot of new actors that I find promising and the story is ok. I think it is good when you are sick of mean ex-girlfriends and moms.

You wrote a review, right? I think I saw it earlier. I really liked it. :D I have put it on hold right now, but I would give it around a 6 or 7 too if I ever finish it...lol

Well, I initially gave it a higher score than what I really thought of it. I'm too nice with scoring. However, I was compelled to change to not being nice. I have a lot of 7s and 8s because I'm too nice. LOL

‘Reply 1997’ Song Ranks First on Mnet’s New Music Ranking Program ‘Music Triangle’

Although tvN drama Reply 1997 may be over, Seo In Guk and Jung Eun Ji are still riding high from its success, as the on screen couple’s hit song All For You most recently took the top spot on Mnet’s new music ranking program Music Triangle.

Upon receiving the trophy, Jung Eun Ji said, “Firstly, we received a lot of love from many people through Reply 1997, and although I imagined receiving a lot of love for the record, I didn’t have high expectations.”

Seo In Guk added, “It really is because of the fans. If it weren’t for the fans, this award wouldn’t even exist, and Yoon Yoon Jae and Sung Si Won of Reply 1997 couldn’t have received this much love.”



Music Triangle premiered on September 19 and featured performances by artists from all genres of music, including VerbalJint, Shin Yong Jae, Mighty Mouth and Vanilla Acoustic among many others.

I just love this duet. One of my faves. SIG just sings O_O wooh! It even topped GD's One of a Kind on Mnet.

I don't understand ppl, who are lowering scores, just because this drama is being rated so well. If I like the drama I give it high score, if I don't like it then my note will be lower- it's simple ^^ I enjoyed watching Reply 1997. Acting was good, the plot was simple- yet enjoyable and the main female character wasn't as irritating as main feamale characters in other dramas.

I saw a drama review where the note was like 1 or 2/10 and the user watched only 3 episodes, I just wanted to shout watch more, give it a chance...

I felt exactly the same way at first it took me a while to get into it cos of the nostalgia factor i had no clue about the Kpop scene in 1997 to the point where I didn't even know that Eun Ji Won (Do Hakchan) was actually in Sechs the pop group the other girl was crazy about until about half way through the drama.

I liked it & scored it accordingly I didn't check where it was on the chart and mark it up or down accordingly that is just childish. I rarely give out 10's actually I have only given 4 dramas 10, Bridal Mask & Reply 1997 being two of those. They are totally different dramas.

But in my opinion Reply deserves a 10 the writing alone justifies it, and its about teenagers but its not your typical fluff teen drama. This has heart and soul and I think thats why so many people were moved by it to give it a high score. Whether it is #1 or not is immaterial this drama moved me and that is what matters to me not points!

Wow. Didn't know my opinion and actions would tick off people to the point of name calling. My childish self will continue to do what I want the way I want to do it. Sorry that I hurt you guys. That wasn't my intention. I thought this was a site where we discussed and reviewed regardless of difference of opinions. My bad. I'm glad you all enjoyed it. Peace
