I've just realised that in 2016 I gave 3 dramas a 10/10.

Now, in 2017, I've completed 4 dramas which I all have given a 10. I have a feeling like it will only go downhill from now on T-T

Any recommendations of great dramas which I haven't seen yet?

(and which don't have romantisation of abusive relationships or manipulative men if possible, i really can't stand seeing that any more)

Many thanks! ❤

A quick rec:

- Secret Investigation Record (sort of like the X-Files, but set in Joseon)
- A Tree with Deep Roots (King Sejong wanted to create an easy-to-learn writing system, and some people didn't like it; and my description really doesn't give justice to the drama's awesomeness)
- Ruler of Your Own World (he's an ex-con with a heart of gold and a terminal disease, she's the daughter of a rich family who aspires to be a professional musician; an old school drama from 2002, which amazingly managed to handle melodramatic elements without being melodramatic in itself)

I don't know about great, though, because everyone has different taste in dramas. But I do feel comfortable recommending those I mentioned above to anyone, whether they're a Kdrama watcher or not :)
@kura2ninja:
Thanks for your recommendations! I've never heard of these so I'll carefully examine the plots & watch the trailers, thank you! :D

@senna:
Thank you for your recommendation :) I was meaning to try out watching a drama with more than 24 episodes and also get into watching Chinese movies or dramas. Both at the same time is maybe too much for now, but I'll definitely consider watching Nirvana in Fire in the future!
