After I finished the last episode I was so confused because I didn't know how to rate it. I can say that I'm pretty satisfied by the ending. It wasn't as I thought, so there is another good thing about this drama: it's not predictible. ;)
It seems that the next season will air in August 2012, but that's not sure.(They said about another drama that it will have a second season too and it didn't happen.)
In the end I rated it 9. Now with this new version of MDL, it means something else so I don't think that I overrated it. I enjoyed it but at the same time I wanted more so I think this is a very good drama for CSI, Law and Order fans but with some missing parts in the story/ writing if you think about it objectively.
Oh my God, I think I'm in love with this drama. Even though I know it's not a masterpiece and there are holes in a plot here and there I can't stop watching it. At first I was a bit hesitant about this one because of this whole vampire thing (I absolutely abhor everything related to vampires lately, guess why) and thought it would be another lame story but... boy, I was wrong. Yeah, as for now I can say that this one may be the best police/detective drama I've seen so far. And I love Prosecutor Min!

I felt the same way. I didn't pick up this show until a friend who was watching it told me how much she was enjoying it and thought well why not, nothing else sounded good at the moment. I am so glad now that I watched it. I'am excited for the next season and wondering where they are going to take it.

I'm excited for season 2 too even though I didn't even finish the first one :)
...but I have a feeling that I will complete it tonight, even if I won't sleep. It's too addicting!
(oops, I'm acting like a crazy fangirl :P)
Okay season two starts tomorrow....it doesn't look like viki is going to sub it...will it be on dramafever? will we have to wait for them to sub it? I can't wait!!!
okay it is offically the 10th here in the western US...so who knows where I can find Vampire Prosecutor 2 ep 1?????????
Finally it's here!! And it got off to a rather gruesome start. I definitely liked the second epi better, not really because it was less gruesome (doesn't particularly bother me), but because I thought the story was better and, maybe just me, the directing improved (plus thoroughly enjoyed watching Yoshitaka Yuriko).

I'm not really on board with Yoon Jung Hun's new look, but I AM totally on board with Lee Young Ah's new hair and improved character. The hair is much more appropriate to her role, making her look more mature and professional, and her character seems to have become harder and more in charge and maybe even more competent (besides her old habit coming back in epi 1 of going into places alone where she should have a partner with her). Also, Kim Joo Young got less cute and more handsome. Thumbs up.

Oh, I so agree with you! I have mixed feelings about Prosecutor Min's new haircut - it looks a bit... hm, strange for my tastes but still, I find him very very irresistible. As you said, Lee Young Ah's character improved a lot - I loved her in season one, but here she is even better! But yeah, sometimes she acts so stupid, like those guys in horror stories who get killed at the very beggining of the movie.
To sum it up, so far it keeps up with season one, I just hope they won't destroy everything by adding too much romance - don't get me wrong, I'd looove to see two of our prosecutors ending up together but I hope they won't do it in some cliched or rushed or too melodramatic way.
You should make a new discussion thread for season 2... there might be some who haven't even watched season 1 yet
Considering the fact that I love vampire stories, I am so mad at myself because I didn't start watching it earlier but now that I started it, I just can't stop. It's amazing! The plot, the crimes and even the supernatural element. The lead male was my crush in Sad Love Song about eight years ago and now that crush is becoming even stronger. Totally enjoying this drama!

He really looks good here..But I prefer his look on Season 1 than in S2...I love him wearing eye liner...
But I don't love it as much as I expected:(

Having watched so many Vampire drama...I felt that Prosecutor Min is the weakest vampire I ever encounter...
Even the cheesiest vampire drama that I watch, compare to him, is much more stronger and has much more ability...

But it still have some good points so I gave both season 8:)

Yes, he's weak :( I mean other vampires can get easily healed from a stab with a knife but he can't :(
he can't heal as other vampires because he doesn't drink fresh blood like others do

Generally speaking, vampires in this drama are a lot weaker than other vampires.
