Lost You Forever - Tushan Jing vs Xiang Lu

Xiang Lu is so much better than Tushan Jing.

TJ acts like an underdeveloped 5 year old and has zero chemistry with Xiaoyao. Her main emotion towards him is just pity and their interactions really remind me of a mother and sons interactions. Super cringy and Xiaoyao has to take the role of a man on in the relationship.  He's usually just staring at her from the branches and calls himself stinky and expects her to take care of all his wounds, as she did. She's sacrificed so much for him and he just hasn't done anything. 

Xiaoyao herself is always upset at him, and has to take all the initiative in the relationship. He just sort of sits there like a statue and takes everything. When Xiaoyao tells him to leave when she doesn't actually want him to leave, he's just like ok. And walks away. He's just super passive and stays mostly expressionless, except for his creepy smiles and his jumping dance. (There was that one scene where Xiang Lu was fighting like a real man while Tushan Jing was doing this weird jumping dance??)

Xiang Lu is who Xiaoyao actually has that chemistry with. They have really good banter and all their scenes are really enjoyable to watch. It's clear she feels much more good tension with him and is also very comfortable with him. He's done a lot for her too, like taking the poisonous bug. And he's someone she can actually rely on, unlike TJ. Xiang Lu is actually a developed character with a personality that matches really well with Xiaoyao's. He takes on that supportive role that Xiaoyao really needs. He's also a much cooler character in general and you naturally root for him because Xiaoyao is happy when she's with him, and they have really good chemistry.

Even Xuan would be better for her rather than Tushan Jing!

What's the use of being all that you mentioned, if in the end she chooses Tushan Jing? Yes, because she chooses him every time, yes, because she runs into his arms every time, because it is for him that she will suffer, it is for him that she will cry, go without sleep, without eating properly. Yes, because it is for him that she swears never to marry in this life!
