THE MANGA

The series was adapted from a manga of the same name (in English the title was translated as "Captivated, by You"). The manga is a collection of short stories that can be grouped in two separate arcs: while he first half focuses on Hayashi's character and how he ends up affecting those around him with his unconventional, free-spirited personality, the second one explores Medaka and Nikaido's relationship. 

The manga Won a New Face Award from the 23rd Japan Media Arts Festival and the 24th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in Short Work Category in 2020.
