Dramas are quite different from the American & European shows I know, and sometimes I find myself to wish for these shows to have more common traits with dramas. Especially having a limited mount of seasons of episodes and not carry on season after season with a thinning plot line :/
Recently I've come to watch the series 'Outlander' again, and thought that it was quite similar plot-wise to the kdrama 'Faith'. In both series, a female doctor travels back in time and faces political conflicts and people that want to kill her/the long-haired man she starts to love. Since the story is based on books, it also has the advantage of having a limited amount of episodes/seasons.
(Note: While it might have similarities, 'Outlander' is not a drama, so if you watch it, be warned that there will be sex scenes & a few disgusting medical scenes)
