TeaBear:Romance in the rain is from 2001. So yeah, it is a old one.
And a addition to the list: Nothing Gold Can Stay Its a mandarin drama. I dont know the ending yet. I just have start on the drama now recently. But the heroine seems to be pretty interesting. But the drama is 74 eps long tho... uggh....!
Oh yes, a Chinese drama! I came across that one before and find its plot very interesting. I think I've also heard people say it has a smart female lead so I was hooked. The number of episodes kind of intimidate me, though! Moreover, I've seen mixed feedbacks about its ending.....BUT well most Chinese dramas have issues like that soooo. Regardless, I hope you like it and update me if it was GOOD! Enjoy watching! :)
@fanitha
Thank you for your recommendations! Not gonna lie, as soon as you mentioned some of my favorite shows (e.g. Kill Me, Heal Me, Healer, It's Okay, That's Love, The Moon Embracing The Sun, and Marriage, Not Dating), I immediately had a feeling I'll enjoy the rest of your list!
I'm currently watching some of them already, such as The Greatest Love, Live Up To Your Name, and Pride and your comment definitely convinced me to pick them up again. The only one I'm not THAT familiar yet is Can You Hear My Heart, but I heard good things about it.
I also appreciate that you have a lot of Jdramas here, all of which are on my PTW list. Would you mind suggesting which one should I watch first? Again, THANK YOU SO MUCH! :)

Sure here is my suggested order:
- Pride
- We married as a job
- Buzzer Beat
- Soratobu Kouhoushitsu
- Tatta Hitotsu no Koi
- Boku Unmei no Hito Desu
Can you Hear my Heart is a very sweet drama with a very sweet male lead and I really like how the OTP support and understand each other
neo:
- Healer
- Chicago Typewriter
- Suspicious Partner
- Jewel in the Palace
- Tunnel
- I'm Not A Robot
- Rooftop Prince (subjective - personally I liked that it was bittersweet but I know some people didn't like the open ending)
I think I really need to finish Chicago Typewriter then! I haven't seen Suspicious Partner (even though I love Ji Chang Wook. Is it really worth the watch?), same with Tunnel (although I heard this was very good) and Rooftop Prince. I might check these out, THANK YOU!!!

Currently watching Pride, thank you for your suggestion! I love how mature the relationship of the main leads is (can't wait to know its ending). I'll watch We Married As A Job next!!!
I just added Can You Hear My Heart to my PTW list (although I have a love/hate relationship with Hwang Jung Eum, she seems quite likable on this one). I really adore that kind of relationship you've mentioned, wish more dramas have that!!
The ones I recommend are a bit unconventional:
When a snail falls in love- the main leads are different then the usual what you see. Satisfying ending. The intelligent female lead and male lead.
Chef Hua- This is a food-obsessed drama with lots of beautiful romance - by that I mean if you are single (like me) you can feel it too real. Such beautiful non-singleness.
Go ahead- The female lead is my personal favourite. Seven tan is 30 year old who acted as 16 years old so amazingly. One of the few Chinese dramas which hooked me on from the first episode to last.
Under the power- Female lead is a police bailiff and knows kungfu. Badass females in this drama.
I tried to think of some different ones from what I've seen suggested.
Let's Fight Ghost / Bring it on Ghost - Dude fights ghosts as a way to exorcise them and teams up with a gal ghost who doesn't know who she was in life. Investigating his past and trying to find her identity.
It's Okay Not to be Okay - One of the best shows of the year. It was a ton of fun and had a great ending. I didn't feel like it dragged at all. She's a crazy (in a scary way, lol) children's book author and he is a health worker in a psychiatric ward and also looks after his older brother. She decides she wants him and sets out to get him. Lots of growth for all the characters.
Flower of Evil - Police detective discovers her perfect, loving husband is not who he seems. But is he a serial killer? Happy ending.
Her Private Life - Professional curator at an art museum by day, obsessed idol fan by night. He is the new museum director, a famous painter who can no longer paint. It was just delightful.
Boss and Me - Office romance. He's the cold boss, she's the struggling newbie. I thought there was a lot of growth for the FL that let her get to the point where she could feel like she was an equal partner with him. And he's just adorable as he finally has someone he can be completely comfortable and relaxed with, because he's just a homebody at heart.
Avenger's Social Club - 3 women from different walks of life team up to get revenge for how they've been wronged, but the friendship that develops is what they really needed in their lives.
Extraordinary You - They are characters in a manga that develop self-awareness and can do as they please 'between the panels' but are forced to act out the author's story as written. The ending completely makes sense for the series.
Kill It - Really the only ending possible. He's an assassin who lives as a vet. He takes jobs for a client in return for information about his past. He meets a detective who was his friend at the orphanage. Separately, they investigate the past and the present. She's suspicious of him, he must hide his actions.
Kleun Cheewit - She's a famous actress with a tragic backstory and present, he's a lawyer and believes she killed his fiancé while driving drunk after a party and wants revenge. I liked that for a change he has to work for her forgiveness. They can't just be together like nothing ever happened.
My Little Princess - Only if you like camp, because this is a charmingly cheesy, fourth-wall-breaking, rom-com! She was adopted by a rich family and forced to become the perfect princess of a daughter by a very demanding mom. She is willing to accept her arranged marriage, however the groom casts her in the role of villainess and refuses the engagement, believing she has been bullying the girl he has a crush on. Despite her determination to wed her fiancé, the princess can't help falling for the mysterious stranger who works wearing the bear costume at the local bookstore. Every time the bear shows up, I just love it. It's a silly confection that gently spoofs a lot of common tropes.
My Roommate is a Detective - A trio works to solve complicated mysteries in 1920s Shanghai. The gangster-turned-police-official convinces a brilliant Sherlock Holmes-esq murder suspect into helping him with the case. After clearing his name, he becomes a consultant for the police force and ends up living with a lady reporter who is the daughter of a prominent gangster. I'd watch another season of this bunch.
Please Love the Useless Me - She's down on her luck when her monster of a former boss (who now owns a cafe) feeds her, gives her a new job, and helps her turn her life around. Co-habitation hijinks ensue.
Ones I think had satisfying endings because my memory of them is very fond, but I don't really recall specifically how they ended: King is Not Easy, King's Avatar, Can We Love?, Hawarang, Go Go Squid, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?, Terius Behind Me, The Suspicious Housekeeper (Korean), Smile You, Pachara Montra.
