Romance, female main lead that got balls

- Great story (something you'll rate 7 or more)

- With funny scenes, so nothing 'only' serious

- NOT other characters, but female main lead

- Better if story doesn't entirely focus on romance

- I'm not a teen, if that helps. I don't like cheesy, cliche, unrealistic scenes

- rly great if female lead is smart too

I enjoyed these:

- Kim Book Joo

- Black

- I'm Not a Robot (CW, but I'm rly enjoying it so far)

**So-so: Jun Ji-Hyun drama

Drama I didn't like (I didn't said it's bad):

- Coffee Prince (sorry, the story & couple just don't appeal me)

- Fight For My Way (too cheesy romance, & mostly just romance)

- W (too cheesy, don't like female lead)

- Strong Women Bong Soo (too fake scenes, too cheesy, didn't appeal me)

Reply 1997 - not book smart but street smart. Most scenes are from highschool but its a drama that would speak to all ages. One of the best dramas of all time.
1% of something - very kind but stands her ground, very romance centered
My name is kim samsoon - doesn't take BS from other people, even the ML and his manchild tendencies, same goes for her jerk exBF
Sassy girl go Go - high school drama, so this might more on the childish side but with strong and opinionated FL
Strongest Delivery Man - very strong personality FL, same lead as I Am not a robot
Across the Ocean to See You (Taiwan drama) - strong FL that usually bulldozed ML, especially since he is her subordinate
Love O2O (China Drama) - very level headed and smart FL, same with ML
From 5 to 9 (Japanese drama) - very independent FL
Perfect Couple (Taiwan drama) - very strong personality FL.
Love Now (Taiwan drama) - FL that has got tons of balls

I'm watching Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and the FL is a bad-ass. I haven't finished it yet but so far the story is amazing. Gotta also love Hana yori Dango, the FL just never backs down.

Since you said you're not a teen (neither am I) may I also recommend Boku no Yabai Tsuma. Wife gets revenge on her cheating husband- strong and smart FL with a bit of twisted romance.
