Not intentionally, but she doesn't take the relationship seriously enough. Maybe she stands him up multiple times because she's with the SML who she's friends with. Eventually the ML breaks up with her and then she feels guilty and tries to win him back and does.

Dont know the  exact drama for the plot you're looking for but I have something similar.

Ashes of Love - Female lead neglects relationship with Male Lead because she can't understand it her mother made her eat a pill that wouldn't let her feel or know what love is. ML was the one able to slowly break that effect but at the latter part she got together with SML so besides the pill in effect, her relationship with SML also hinders her. When the effect of the pill broke, she realized her feelings for ML ^^ and yeah she did what she should do lol

I Need Romance 3 also isn't an exact fit, but is somewhat close. The FL looked after the ML when they were kids (on her mother's behalf, and she did not enjoy the work) and he had a crush on her before moving abroad. He returns to Korea as an adult and arranges through her mother to move in with her temporarily. The FL views the ML as an annoying little brother and does not appreciate his advice, affection, or care. He is supportive of her even when she realizes she has feelings for her boss, and they build up an affectionate relationship even as she starts dating the SML. He is very patient, but ultimately realizes that she is going to keep taking him for granted, so he moves out, telling her she has to choose, and ultimately she does.
