I would like something where the ML is a typical rich kid who is careless and then something happens and has to now take care of the company and is actually good at it.

Or just a ML who is rich because he is smart and has his own company or something.

  • My Secret Romance - the ML lives a carefree playboy lifestyle; his father intervenes and forces him to briefly work in an entry-level position at one of their hotels; he meets the FL when they are both at a major low point; they connect through their shared misery and have a one night stand; embarrassed, the FL sneaks away the next morning and they have no way of finding each other again; after that, the ML straightens up and becomes CEO of the family business; he meets the FL three years later when she happens to be hired as a nutritionist for the company
  • I'm Not a Robot - the ML becomes CEO of a large company at a very young age because he is a genius, but a psychosomatic allergy to humans forces him to live secluded in his mansion
  • Strong Woman Do Bong Soo - the ML becomes the CEO of a gaming company at a young age because of his talent despite his eccentric personality
  • What's Wrong With Secretary Kim - the ML became the CEO of his family's business at a young age; he is a genius with an ego and an eccentric personality; he often appears careless and vain even after he becomes CEO, but he is very hard working and good at his job
  • Coffee Prince - a chaebol heir lives a carefree / playboy life so his family threatens to cut him off; he has to prove himself by running his own coffee shop, and he does a good job
  • Bromance - the ML became CEO of his family's theme park business (which they turned to after they left the mafia business and went legit) after his father disappeared five years ago; he's good at it; he was adopted and there's no indication that he was ever careless, but taking on the responsibility so soon was unexpected
  • Love O2O - the ML's intelligence allows him to be successful in school and, later, in starting up his own gaming company; He doesn't become chaebol-level rich because the company is just starting out (his parents are university professors so he's not an heir), but his early success indicates that he will likely become quite rich in the near future
  • Are You Human Too? - the ML (Nam Shin III) is a robot modelled after the creator's son (Nam Shin) after his grandfather forcibly takes custody of him and prevents his mother from seeing him; although Nam Shin is a rebellious rich boy, he becomes CEO of the family conglomerate at a young age; when Nam Shin gets in a serious accident that puts him in a coma, his mother sends Nam Shin III to take his place in order to protect his position as CEO; Nam Shin III does very well
  • Cunning single lady
  • Rich man poor woman
  • Lucky Romance
