ROMANTIC drama recommendations

Need some recommendations on the most romantic (as the main genre) Korean/Japanese (not any other country) dramas! Also, ones where the leads have amazing chemistry and there's not just a simple romance (typical asian drama romance like peck on lips, awkward back hug etc.) thanks!

If you're looking for great chemistry and romance then I think you should try:

  • Something in the Rain  - noona romance with great chemistry and a lot of romantic scenes.
  • Tomorrow With You - drama with time travel theme but romance is a main point here, great chemistry and good kissing scenes.
  • Secret Love Affair - if you like mature dramas then try this one.
  • The World That They Live In - older one but it's a good romance, slice of life drama.
  • Just Between Lovers - romance here is slow and not passionate but it's a beautiful story.
  • It's Okay, That's Love - didn't watch this one (but it's high on my plan to watch list), I heard a lot of good things about this one regarding romance and chemistry between main leads.


To be honest it's hard to find good romance with passionate scenes.
