A Tale of Two Sisters (K-Movie) not scary, but mild thriller.
The same with Hansel & Gretel (K-Movie) mild & Ghost House (even funnier horror) & Cello (K-Movie) mild.
But this acceptable to watch for beginner, if more scary like Thai & Japanese horror movies, i watch with hands covering my eyes & mute audio.
I recommend Thai movies too, Alone and Shutter were great : D with a bit of a twist!
Some good Korean ones are APT & the cat
As for japanese ones there is Dark water, Kuchisake onna 1 & 2 (both very different and dont follow on to the next, and they are also my personal favourites) there is also Kabe otoko but its not so much gory as weird :o oh and there's Keitai Kareshi and Keitai Kanojo too!
I'm sure there's a lot more but I'm at work currently so I don't have a list XD
tales of terror: Haunted house (it stays in ur mind even if it dont seem scary and a very unexpected ending)
Suicide club ( i cudnt watch it but dunno if ud like it )
Hansal and grete ( Im currently watching this)
From the above post
ive watched Audition, The Tunnel, Three Extremes, The locker (not sure), The Eye
from those... Audition >= The Eye > Three Extremes > The Tunnel > The Locker
everything else no hope for goodness^^
