Sounds like an epic treat, I've heard of Tsai Ming's movies before but now they are definitely on my priority list. As an avid fan of Chinese/HK cinema, these recommendations are a true delight! 

Also, rarely do I get to see any stuff from the Philippines so this will be an interesting watch :D thank you once again!

That's the reason why I watched it but it's really a decent serious drama. I was expecting laughs- there were none.

I would like to recommend the japanese drama love and fortune.  It's about a 35 year old woman having an affair with a 15 yr old boy. And honestly it's one of my all time fav dramas  it's produced by Netflix so it's very well made and the director has made the story in such a way that makes me not hate the FL lead but also i can't sympathise with her.  It has mature scenes and the tone is serious.
