I'm Looking for recommendations, I don't mind if it's Kdramas, Cdramas, Jdramas or Lakorns even Turkish. That they are leads or secondary leads. Older or newer dramas.

But I want the male lead to be in love with someone else when the drama begins that he doesn't care one bit about the female lead in a romantic way.  Of course that will change later.  He could be a divorcee who doesn't want to love again, or a widow, a guy in love with a girl who doesn't love him, He is still in love with his ex, A guy who is waiting for the girl he loves to come back.

 I will give examples.

  1. Heartstrings (Leads, lead guy in love with his teacher)
  2. Fated to Love You (Leads, lead guy girlfriend picked her career over him and now he is waiting for her)
  3. My Lovely Sam Soon (Leads, Still in love with his ex)
  4. Boys over Flower (Two secondary guys, one was in love with his ex later liked the lead girl another he was in love with his ex later hinted that will stay with the secondary girl)
  5. Goong (Leads, Lead guy in love with his ex who pick being a ballerina over being a princess)

Please don't recommend me ones that he simply falls for the girl, I want the lead guy to be in love with someone else. I also have to clarify that I would probably have watch 90 percent if not more of the dramas that will be recommended but that doesn't make less thankful for taking the time to recommend me dramas.

THANK YOU!

A Piece of Your Mind

Do You Like Brahms

Falling For Innocence

Warm and Cozy

the one i can think of right now, hope it suits your style.

Another Miss Oh

Rooftop Prince (this one is time travel and he is a king with a queen)

Mr. Queen (time travel too)

"Enemies turned lovers" is a common tag for this type of dramas, also "pretend relationship" or "contract relationship", especially when they have to put up with it because of circumstances.

I'm Not a Robot
Sweet 18
Lie to Me
Oh My Venus
Playful Kiss
Suspicious Partner

Plenty of these kinda of dramas.

But I want to go in knowing if it is he loves someone else trope first heheheh like not all contract relationships or pretend relationship has a male lead in love with someone else. Example Oh my Venus he didn't love someone else he didn't want to be in a relationship because of the problems he had. Also Playful Kiss he wasn't in love with someone else. But thank you for your recommendations, I'm very thankful you took the time to reply to this post.

Two that I know..

-Love911.  (This is a movie but is quite enjoyable to watch with good plot. It is centred around a firefighter who's wife died while he was on duty, can't really get over her and doesn't want to get into relationships again. He meets a feisty doctor who has just been fired from her job, the two bicker and fight quite often, before eventually opening up)

-Kluen Cheewit (FL literally kills ML girlfriend so obviously ML is still in love with his ex and has very negative feelings towards FL. Good drama as it not a story you hear everyday, like who falls in love with your girlfriends 'killer'?. Overall an enemies to lovers, male lead does not care for FL at all, he doesn't 'fall' for her but instead learns and understands who she is as a person. Definitely a great drama to try!!)
