lots of dumb decisions are being made and i'm between dropping it or eating this up. So far, the second is winning since I do like the cast.

finished it with the help of fastforwarding and would not watch again. it's definitely a product of it's time

at first i wasnt gonna watch but then i got curious on what season 2 would even be about cause there's no way to continue it with the cast. well, it's a midquel lol (or intraquel?) takes place during the first time skip of season 1. I was sad my favorite character was canonically in jail so he ddn't show up and they added some others I'm meh towards

seeing the events here plus what happens in season, xiong definitely gets what he deserves. He's annoying. Bao is the most annoying and I always skip his scenes.

I had to see to the end cause wondered how they were going to wrap it up. It was unfortunately sadder than I would have liked

randomly felt like watching it and here I am. Somehow the main leads are even more childish than in Devil Beside You and now I remember that's why this doesn't get rewatched lol I'm halfway through tho

8/30 I got halfway through ep 14 until I finally decided to drop this. Some shows are better left alone

this was recommended to me, I guess cause I was watching WWL, and I'm already on ep 23 after three days and the fastforward button. This was messier than I remember but that was necessay to think on this fondly. I do remember than Shancai and Si were well meaning (kinda) but so toxic to each other. This defintely spurred my desire for a drama like Mars lol

also I forgot how annoying everyone was when they acted like "love" was worth being homeless and jobless. That's an insane power imbalance and Si doesn't have the skill to combat it. He can only give empty promises.

This series was definitely dragged out but so was the manga and it was still ongoing at this point. That said, I was defintely smilng at the cuteness in the end

If the family is supposedly in business and they were doing well and the middle girl went to a luxurious private school, why is there no one to negotiate on behalf of them. The middle girl is consistently rash and naive somehow even more that the oldest who's been in a convent this whole time. Also, she literally knows nothing about business. She should not be making all the descisions alone.

ep 7 is weird cause why the bride's family still there? They should've been left. and it's weird for the mil and concubine to humilate her in front of them. Maybe I've read too many webnovels and I know they're not 100% accurate but this show sped up the wedding so much and normal procedures were ignored. Now they're angry and blaming others for what they did

the second sis doesn't hide her obession for the ml at all but everyone just goes along with it like it's appropriate? definitely one of the more annoying parts of this and that's saying something cause there are tons

just finished ep 27 and this is taking a turn for the worse which is saying something cause there haven't been any good turns. I'm not sure if I can keep watching after this cause I'm just annoyed at everyone (except gangster dude. he's the only voice of reason)
