Variety/Reality Shows :)

My first proper dive into korean variety shows. I absolutely ADORE running man, including the recent years. The show has changed a lot since the beginning, and the early episodes will always have a place in my heart. I do miss the nametag elimination races tho fr fr. I have a running man mug. 

I love watching people suffer. Love the entire cast and their dynamics. Love the production. Good shit. Some people get annoyed at the members, but I just find it amusing. You're laughing at them not with them, y'know?

Ahh the great escape extended universe continues. I really love the cast. Since it’s an overarching story over the whole season rather than contained to 2 episodes, I was much more anxious about whether they succeeded or not. Very fun.

Very entertaining. Love watching people way smarter than me figure shit out. Watched all the seasons more than once.

I got 7 eps into produce camp 101, with each episode being ridiculously long until I kinda just stopped watching nd decided to drop it. This was the best thing to come from that show. I just love lighthearted fun games ig

A fun, easy watch. Made me very jealous lol

The concept is pretty simple and nothing grand really happens but I really liked the cast and was thoroughly entertained.

I really liked watching two groups of strangers interacting with each other. I don’t really know much about either group, and I still really enjoyed it.

This was cute. Not much else to say abt it.

This was kinda stressful ngl but the performances were top notch. 

I love how awkward Meenoi is lmao. She kept me entertained enough I binged it as fast as I could.

Never in my life have I felt so small and weak. These men are INSANELY fit. RIDICULOUSLY fit. Good watch, though I did put it on in the background for most of the episodes.

This was absolutely hilarious, 90% of the hilarity coming from Jung Kyung Ho.

I love this cast sm I miss them already.

I wish it was more objective based rather than just "hold out" but then again I just want everything I watch to be like Running Man soo yea. Pretty good tho.

This was fun. Did I like it because it reminded me of early Running Man? Perhaps.

This was fine. I only really liked the brothers household, the couple one made me cringe a bit.

The cast I never knew I needed. Kwang Soo is never not funny, worth watching just for him

01/06/23 | This felt kinda low budget and somehow forced? Like it felt like they were pretending to have a good time but I’m probably talking out my ass lmao. It got some laughs from me though.

13/06/23 | This was a good pilot, shame it didn't get picked up. Lots of second hand embarrassment tho..

15/07/23 | The concept wasn't that strong, I wish they'd lean more into it. Like the whole thing is going after this rabbit but they only really chase him twice. I don't mind that much though because the casting was PERFECT.

17/08/23 | Anything with Lee Si Young yes please. This was funny.

31/08/23 | The casting for this is amazing. I was secretly hoping the Ji Bros would win they felt like the underdogs hehe

01/09/23 | Took a little adjusting to Chinese editing styles but this is good. Basically just an exact copy of TGE but slightly less endearing.

03/01/24 | Tbh I put this on 2x and didn't watch at all from like ep 3 lol. Not my kinda show it turns out.. I just feel too bad for them and get second hand embarrassment.

04/01/23 | This took me ages to finish but I really did enjoy this its just so looong. This is definitely the only idol competition show I’ll love. No evil edits, wholesome contestants, quiet moments, fun games and actually mentoring them?? Yes thank you.
