on hold
-

finished
-
9. Gyeongseong Creature
Korean Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
started 2/23
didn't know about the history they showed, that's horrible. storywise, it's interesting if you don't pay too much attention to the details
on hold
-

dropped
-
12. Parallel World

on hold
-
13. Seishun Cinderella
Japanese Drama - 2022, 10 episodes
started 3/16 and finished 3/17
it was cute and light, with some plotholes
finished
-
14. A Time Called You
Korean Drama - 2023, 12 episodes
started 3/23 and I love it. I'll probably give it a higher rating depending on how things unfold
3/24 on ep10 and fl just did something that makes zero sense. I had to stop when I realized what she was doing. I dunno if i'll come back to this cause the writers did not think that through.
on hold
-
15. Gokusen
Japanese Drama - 2002, 12 episodes

finished 8/9

Chinese Drama - 2024, 39 episodes
started 3/31
watching
-
17. Drunken to Love You
Taiwanese Drama - 2011, 30 episodes
started 4/30
the leads are funny and have good chemistry but they make too many dumb decisions. And when one is going to make a good decision the other lead stops them
dropped
-
18. Love in Flames of War
Chinese Drama - 2022, 43 episodes
started 5/4
male lead is pretty delusional but so far so good
im on ep 12 and now i remember why i don't like most republican dramas. they usually have spies and greedy warlords and i don't like reading about it. i think i might skip watch the next couple of eps in hopes it'll get better or just give up
skip watching helped but now there's school yard scheming and the leads should be too grown to be falling for it yet here we are
dropped
-
19. Sugar Sugar Honey
Japanese Drama - 2024, 8 episodes
started 5/5, finished 5/20
so far its really cute
it was still cute to the end, but kinda forgettable
finished
-
20. Goodbye My Princess: Director's Cut
Chinese Drama - 2019, 55 episodes
started 5/8
it started out good but now i'm kinda meh. Also, I thought the leads would get older but apparently not. the current leads are fine but I'm not sure if they're enough to keep me invested
on ep18 and I know the princess is supposed to be cute, young, and carefree but she makes some dumb and careless choices,. 16ish is old enough to think about consequences to actions
on ep 20 and I still don't care so I'm gonna drop
dropped
-
21. Lovely Runner
Korean Drama - 2024, 16 episodes
started 5/25, finished 6/8
started out really sad but also really cute
halfway through and I still really love it
finished it and i enjoyed it. the bad decision were kept to a minimum and there were plenty of cute funny moments to make me forget them
finished
-
22. Call It Love
Korean Drama - 2023, 16 episodes
started 6/15, finished 7/4
like it; it's very muted and angsty but they're catching feels early and denying it. i can't wait until they do it in earnest
really loved the main couple
finished
-
23. Ring Ring Bell
Taiwanese Drama - 2011, 15 episodes
started 7/7, dropped 7/9
so far I'm liking the leads
I'm on ep 6 and I'm not liking how pitiful they're making the female lead. she constantly lets self-pity take over and she's a little too old to be so immature. plus she falls way too much. I think it's happened every ep at this point
on ep 8 and it just gets more embarrassing to witness. The fl and her family is a mess and I'm just gonna stop here
dropped
-
24. Deranged
Korean Movie - 2012
started and finished 7/11, it was good but not something I'd go back to
finished
-
25. Exit
Korean Movie - 2019
started 7/11, finished 7/12
this was really good, I'd recommend
there was a lot they didn't touch on cause the focus was survival with some comedy added but it'd cool if they explored the aftereffects a little more. then again, it'd be very dark if they did
finished
-
26. Happiness
Korean Drama - 2021, 12 episodes
started 7/12 it's really good, finished 7/14
Currently on ep6 and a lot of the characters are dumb/greedy so that's annoying and they killed two that I pity so that's rude. this is definitely a thriller and since they seem to let the killer guy do whatever and not pay attention to anything that he does, I'm sure I'm just gonna get frustrated more. one thing that I really don't understand is why the info about the pills isnt spread. that could prevent more cases
on ep 9 and to be honest, everyone would've been fine if they just never left the apartment. assuming, of course, that they have enough food stockpiled
finished
-
27. Search
Korean Drama - 2020, 10 episodes
started 7/15, finished 7/16
it was good, though shorter than I expected. I felt like it should've been resolved better but the ending was fine.
finished
-
28. Till the End of the Moon
Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes
started 7/23
so far so good
from eps early 20s and on I started getting more annoyed with the fl's decisions. on ep 31 and i'm struggling to continue
I wanna drop but I only have 7 eps left. I'll put it on hold for now
on hold
-
29. Parasyte: The Grey
Korean Drama - 2024, 6 episodes
started and finished 7/28
it was good. I knew of the manga and Japanese version but never watched it so I saw this with no bias
finished
-
30. Moon in the Day
Korean Drama - 2023, 14 episodes
started 7/29
its okay. I like the reincarnated guy but all the killing talk is getting old fast. so far i've seen up to ep5
on hold
-
31. Story of Kunning Palace
Chinese Drama - 2023, 38 episodes
started 7/29, finished 8/22
on ep 16 and I like this better than moon in the day and till the end of the moon. it's definitely better written tho there are of course still some annoying villiains
watched up to ep33 and I'm so close to finishing but I've lost interest? I'm sure I'll get back to it
finished
-
32. The Starry Love
Chinese Drama - 2023, 40 episodes
started 8/3. honestly I just wanted to check it out cause people were body guard from kunning palace a himbo in this and I was curious. somehow i'm currently on rp 19 so I dunno how long I'm gonna keep watching. It's not great but its easy to get through the eps
watching
-
33. 19th Floor
Chinese Drama - 2024, 30 episodes
started 8/5. I dunno why I keep starting shows instead of finishing them...
on ep7 and the characters all have traits that are kind of annoying (except for the old guy, but he's basically a filler for now). a lot of people seem to hate the fl's friend and she is clingy and useless but its annoying how they show the fl as being so smart but can't even notice (or care) that her friend is in a constant panic. she's definitely a loner. Now that I think about it, the friend knows this too and accepted it, right up until she sees that the fl and ml seem to be always together. it's weird how the leads just met but do everything together and don't include any of the other characters outside of the game.
so they asked about how they got into the game without a headset but not why they were forced in three days in a row. ep 7 was the most irritating by far. the decisions were the norm in this type of show, but still frustrating to see acted out.
it's weird how they talk about whether they should continue the game or not as if they had a choice. Most of them were forced to in the first place
watching
-
34. Lost You Forever
Chinese Drama - 2023, 39 episodes
started 8/6 After binging for a day or two, I keep starting new shows...
its interesting. Not a fan of 2/3 of the ml but theyre all interesting in their own ways
on ep19 and not really feeling the new arc
on hold
-
35. Flower of Evil
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
8/7 I always see this recommended so I decided to see if I liked it and this is not my cup of tea, but I'm curious. Also by the end of the ep we see why ignoring the people you know in public is always the best option
it's been 2 days and I'm on ep11. this show is good but stressful. one thing that always annoys me in suspense type shows is that around ep 10-12 one character always does something really dumb. usually vital giving info to an acquaintance/ stranger who is of course the villian/close to the villian. side characters also do dumb things, for the plot I guess, but they don't make sense
on ep13 and its hard to get through. every times i try to skip some scenes to make it easier, i find characters making very questionable choices. i'm close to just stopping
watching
-
36. The Witch's Diner
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
started 8/16 technically I started it when it first came out but only the first 2 eps were free. Now all the eps are free on viki. I'm liking it. Jihyo should definitely do more roles where she's serious, stoic, and or more composed. they suit her better than romcoms
finished 8/17
finished
-
37. Scent of Time
Chinese Drama - 2023, 30 episodes
started 8/24, finished 8/27
it was good and went by pretty quickly. the ending was kind of bittersweet, but it is a happy ending
finished
-
38. Blossoms in Adversity
Chinese Drama - 2024, 40 episodes
started 9/2 finished 9/6
a sidenote : why is it that when most shows want to showcase a smart female lead, they make all the men stupid (except the ml usually). they're in a storm with nothing around and the sailors decide to quit if they aren't paid more? they will literally die. no one is surviving that storm if they don't sail. the sailors should definitely know this, but if they act rationally, we won't get to see the fl being strong and courageous
of course they're gonna trust and give all their wealth to complete strangers they met a couple minutes ago smh. the rich guy is dumb too, His friends kept talking about how broke they are and he's gonna trust them with all that money. Bonus, aside from 2, all the other maids are incapable of doing any work. I guess all the capable ones ran away when they had a chance
if they know each other's personality faults why not help them through it or at least put precaustions in place just in case. They always ignore them and then move on with no consequences for wrong actions
i'm surprised at how well they handled the big secrets. I'm used to much worse
it ended pretty well. overall, would recommend
finished
-
39. Story of Yanxi Palace
Chinese Drama - 2018, 70 episodes
started 9/29, finished 10/4
a rewatch. I loved it when it came out and I can't believe its been 6 years. let's see if it holds up
on ep 23 and so far i'm remembering why I loved it so much. it's great. I definitely forgot a lot but i'm just getting excited and shocked like it's the first time watching
that being said, i'm still annoyed at xian blaming everyone except her family for their death. it's 100% their fault and she didn't even want the empress' help in the first place.
they went melo and played a little too much violin in the last stretch but I still love the series. Now I need to see a sequel of sometime in the future where ying luo protects fu heng
finished
-
40. One and Only
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
started 10/4, finished 10/7
very melo throughout so if you like that stuff you're good. not a he but there's a part 2 so i'm gonna check that out
finished
-
41. Missing You
Korean Drama - 2012, 21 episodes
started 10/10
this is a reattempt cause i saw up to ep 12 of this drama about 6 years ago and then put it on hold. let's see if i can finish it by now
watching
-
42. The Double
Chinese Drama - 2024, 40 episodes
started 10/17
was reading the webnovel so I'm curious about how this'll go
on ep 34 and they've changed some things, but I still really enjoy this
watching
-
43. Kill Me Love Me
Chinese Drama - 2024, 32 episodes
started 10/23
like it aside from the fact that they seem to physically hurt the female lead like every ep. the ml leaves a lot to be desired, but let's see if he gets better
watching
-
44. A Game about Love
Taiwanese Drama - 2006, 27 episodes
started 10/28
i like the leads so this has been on my to watch list for a while. it is old tho and a lot of things havent aged properly so we'll see with this
watching
-
45. Pending Train: 8:23, Ashita Kimi to
Japanese Drama - 2023, 10 episodes
started 10/30 and finished 10/31
it was nice but that ending was way too open ended
finished
