  • SKY Castle

    12. SKY Castle

    Korean Drama - 2018, 20 episodes

    9.0

Wonderful directing writing, acting & some of the best dialogues I read in K-Drama. Extremely addictive but also very insightful drama with lots of beautiful messages about life. It sheds light to social problems in a satirical way but still doesn't fail at make it's audience reflect on those topics.

  • Signal

One epic tale of three siblings growing up in the 1980's of SK. Very engaging story and one unforgettable villain. Something you can watch with a group of people like family or friends, since there's a lot to talk about.

  • Stranger

    15. Stranger

Some of the best writing I ever saw in a thriller K-Drama. No plot-holes, no fillers. Amazing characters and outstanding acting by everyone, especially Jo Seung Woo who killed it with his charisma and nuanced acting.

Even after years I can't get over this drama. Also it has the most satisying ending in sageuk EVER!! Magnificient acting by the cast. Queen Honey Lee was really gorgeous in this role and she slayed! And the OTP  YKS x CSB was sooo sweet ♥

    Special mention: THE OST ♥

  • The King in Love

    17. The King in Love

    Korean Drama - 2017, 40 episodes

I feel like I'm the only person on this site who appreciates this drama. It's so different from any sageuk I watched. And Siwan's acting is enough to watch this drama tbh. Yoona was not bad at all and I actually liked her character :/ And my otp got a happy ending  (^^) ♥

  • Time Between Dog and Wolf

    18. Time Between Dog and Wolf

    Korean Drama - 2007, 16 episodes

    8.5

A very well-written work for its age. Took a while to get into but starting from episode 6/7 it's a f*cking wild ride. Very high tension, lots of dramatic moments and also more mature than your average crime/revenge drama imo. Oh and best amnesia trope use EVER.

I loved the ending btw good that he didn't end up with that braindead h0e.

  • Because This Is My First Life

    19. Because This Is My First Life

    Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes

    8.5

One of freshest, most unique romance dramas I've watched. It was an emotional journey with ups and downs, hilarious moments, heartbreaks & amazing, fleshed-out characters you could immerse in easily. Sadly it disappointed a bit towards the end as the conclusion was not satisfactory. But overall it deserves a place in this list for being an amazing romance drama and being far ahead towards others in terms of couple chemistry, mutual understanding and steady development <3
