Korean Actors
All of these actors are my favorite starting from the top with So Ji Sub. Whoever ends up last doesn't mean that he's my least favorite. It means that they're new actors that I recently discovered and that they made a very good impression.

So Ji Sub
South Korean
Ah... So Ji Sub...If he were in a Korean boy group he would totally be my ultimate bias. I fell in love with his acting ever since I saw him in a movie called « Rough Cut » It was like love at first sight. Funny enough, I thought he was playing the second male lead because I was only watching the movie because of Kang Ji Hwan (my old flame). After that, I went and look up all the movies and dramas he's been on and decided to watch all of them. He totally has a genre that fits him best: the bodyguard/hitman/security/spy type of character. There is a reason why I put him first on the list. It's because in my eyes, he's the best Korean actor :)

Jang Ki Yong
South Korean
He melted my heart in « Come and Hug Me » with his puppy eyes! You're my hunny bunch sugar plum pumpie umpy pumpkin, you're my sweetie pie ^_^
Ok so I'm currently watching Born Again and his acting really reminds me of So Ji Sub, the seriousness, coldness, manliness urgh it's like I'm falling in love with the wrong guy all over again.
He also went up 2 positions in my top 5 favorite Korean actors. Surpassing Park Bo Geum and Kang Dong Won.

Park Seo Joon
South Korean
In real life...and in a life where I don't exist because of course, you can't ask for too much...I feel like he has the potential to become my boyfriend. I know I've said that about pretty much every Korean actor. It's just... a hunch you know. In terms of acting, he is undoubtedly believable. He's another great actor that can easily control his facial expressions and know how to fit it in the right mood. I thought he and Kim Ji-Won in « Fight For My Way» were great together. He can look cool and awesome in certain scenes and then switch it up and become innocent and vulnerable.

Gong Yoo
South Korean
Gong Yoo is definitely boyfriend material. I'm not even going to be talking about his acting skills, that's how much he's proven to me that his personality surpassed his professional competence. The man is a walking, breathing angel. When he smiles, he smiles with his eyes. His capability to control his facial expression and to use them when it's required is impressive. I loved him ever since I saw Coffee Prince and love him even more in Goblin.

Kang Dong Won
South Korean
Sometimes actors are so good that they can make you grow an interest in a movie genre that you never thought were actually made for you. I discovered Kang Dong Won on Maundy Thursday. I was just casually looking for a Korean movie on Youtube and back at the time, his movie was the first on the list as a recommendation. I watched without any expectations and his performance blew me away. Kang Dong Won is truly one of kind. I make sure to watch every projects his on because he never fails to impress me. He is THAT good.

Lee Min Ki
South Korean
Ever fell in love with a serial killer? Nah me neither. Not until I saw Lee Min Ki in Monster. Well, 'falling in love' is a little bit far fetched I agree. I kept being distracted by his physical beauty. I mean the man certainly has skills but he also has the looks. Now I'd be lying if I told you that he didn't scare me at all. Oh, he did.

Lee Min Ho
South Korean
Ah, Mr. Ho!
I never really understood the hype for this actor even when his popularity skyrocketed because of Boys Over Flowers. I hated his character. I was vouching for Kim Hyun-joong's character because he was way more charming and down to earth. As I kept watching other dramas I finally fell under his charm after watching City Hunter. This man is made for action movies, there's no doubt but also for comedy. I feel like he can always bring a part of him in every character. It's like you can see that he could easily improvise and no one would notice.

Ryu Jun Yeol
South Korean
«There is something about him that makes you fall for his personality instinctively » is what I felt when I watched him in Reply 1988, no wonder they dated in real life. That chemistry was something that would only exist in real life.

Lee Dong Wook
South Korean
You know when he's good enough for you to vouch for him as a second lead but he doesn't take too much space to let the main lead shine? Yeah well that's how I would describe his acting in Goblin. He made his character very likable.
