super fun and fluffy.

so much to love about this one

every character, no matter how huge their part was, added something interesting to the story. the camerawork in this drama? big yes. 

the dynamic between the main couple? um. im in love with. im also in love with nana but thats an issue for another day 

i enjoyed this greatly - i am so glad i waited till it was completed because i was thinking about it constantly when not watching and it would have driven me insane to wait for new episodes.

the drama divides into two distinct parts vibe-wise - i personally liked both, but i can see how the change could put off some people. another flaw is the overuse of false cliffhangers - gradually it actually removed tension from the drama.

other than that i have nothing but praise for all of the involved, especially the actors. Lee Seunggi...............

i enjoyed almost every aspect about this. felt like the murder mystery could have been slightly better but they did rather well anyway.

first k-drama i ever saw - thank god it was a good one. 

i also don't remember a whole lot except that i think it's one of the rare dramas that executed its comedic sub-plots rather well. the soundtrack was nice, too.

an ambitious drama - it tried to do a whole lot with its runtime and sometimes succeeded.

i love a good underdog story so obviously... i liked it a lot.

if you're looking for a female spy action drama with comedic down-times and a bit of a tiny bit romance, this is pretty much perfect!! 

the action scenes are chef's kiss!!!!! beautiful

i loved some character arcs, others not so much -- that's why the rating is only an 8 seeing as i believe the story lost a bit of its focus towards the end. still ended pretty alright, id say.

anyway, i thought it was... a  rather nice watch.  a mix of slightly sad backstories and occasionally cheesy scenes make for a good friends-to-lovers show. 

i like books, the show sometimes revolved around books, that's cool too.

i was skeptical but the drama did an amazing job of focusing on all three couples. and - you know - i was thoroughly interested in all of them. the character arcs, man. they were good. 

i feel like the only issue i had was pacing. but not often. 

probably my favourite bl drama rn. some problematic moments that leave a bad aftertaste, though. other than that it's pretty great - loved type as a character, lowkey related to him too much.

this could've 100% been 16 episodes instead of 20

the story was pretty worth watching for. haven't really seen any other drama addressing the prejudices present regarding plastic surgery. don't think it was executed perfectly - it's very hard to pull something like that, anyway - but it's always nice to see such issues being highlighted in the media i consume. 

the antagonistic woman lacked a good villain story, therefore, the whole plot line involving her fell a bit flat. i don't particularly enjoy seeing a mean girl being mean for no good reason. 

acting could be better - felt like the main dude had approximately 1-3 expressions throughout the whole show. i understand that being stoic is part of his personality, but he could have expanded his repertoire to - i don't know, maybe 5 expressions? 

fell off a bit in the second half,,,

characters were (more than) occasionally dumb but lovable and it was fun. 

the high school part was really enjoyable. everything afterwards just... felt a bit out of place. the setting and time was changed but it felt like there wasn't much character development and quite frankly the plot was a bit ???. 

contrary to perhaps popular opinion i didn't really enjoy the crying fest here. it got old a bit, maybe? i know it's one of the ways to explore heartbreak but there are other ways, too. 

liked the aesthetics tho.

dropped with 15 eps left, but i think i wont miss too much. there were aspects which i enjoyed - mostly i really like the story itself and how it emphasizes the importance of teamwork and all that jazz. that shit is pretty cute.

 i... personally did not care for the main couple a lot although their dynamic and mutual support was nice. i just didn't care for some reason?? maybe bc my inherently favourite character was the second male lead? not that i wanted him to end up with the female lead.

 acting was ok - unfortunately i don't think the lead actress showed her best performance, a lot of emotions she tried to convey came off as forced. the male lead is ok - there's a lot of hype around him so i might check other dramas he's in. 

the gamingaspect (what interested me initially) was a bit lmao. ofc a lot of things were made more dramatic for, well, dramatic purposes - it's a drama after all. i honestly grew to love how random the phrases were when they talked about the game. 

aesthetically pleasing. there is a coffee shop

did not enjoy all story lines. got spoiled so i lost motivation to continue but it wasn't bad

i watched this kinda randomly bc i heard its about volleyball players dating and i sort of have life experience with this and i needed a pick me up so i thought - why not?

and honestly i'd say for the time the show was given to develop its story and the production value (obviously the budget was not great) it was alright. the actors were nice, i could feel tangible chemistry most of the time. 

i wasnt rlly that invested in the show, but it did make me miss the good old days when i was an athletic person lol. so, overall - good time!

ok the plot holes are a bit ??? and some lines are a bit ??? too BUT.  

but i was in fact not bored. i was thoroughly entertained almost 90% of the time. i also connected/got attached to a fair amount of characters. 

as any next person i completely loved Jo Young and Jo Eun Sub. also, Shin Jae??? the way i felt for him??? i cried only once and it was bc of him. 

the main couple was ok, i think they're both decent actors - i think the writing around them was a tiny bit, if not a huge bit, cheesy. 

i dont mind the super obvious product placement at all - i simply dont care and it doesnt take away anything from the drama as far as i am concerned.

lost some of its sincerity by disregarding heavier themes (and sweeping them under the rug)  in favor of romance. you can do both, you know

i think... in dramas w multiple couples it's natural to grow invested in some more and lose interest in others. therefore, it's quite good that this drama made the screen time mostly equal between the couples and that the stories weren't too related so it would excuse me skipping ahead a bit. 

the "main" couple - bohn and duen - i lost interest in rather quickly... i thought their story was kinda underdeveloped. 

the "friends to lovers" couple - mek and boss - was cute. i like the trope so i was interested, although not super super invested. glad they had a happy ending. 

the "other" couple - king and ram - were the ones i was thoroughly invested in. um. still kinda am. they're both oblivious idiots kinda which is both painful and entertaining to watch. 

the couple that emerged a bit later i actually rlly rlly liked. that was surprise but not an unwelcome one. 

it was ok, the actors were great but perhaps due to the format or whatever the plot was just not there. not fleshed out enough for me

ok drama to put on on the background. the idea was sweet, the execution failed sometimes. the couple was cute (most of the time) but i would be lying if i said i cared about the other plots. 

a very slight improvement from the previous girl next room. left a lot to be desired, though. the story also didn't really develop at a good pace - it felt sometimes very slow and then rushed probably due to only having 4 episodes. it did have some nice moments but overall - meh.
