20th Century Classics Challenge

My personal mini-challenge for 2018~! I challenge myself to:
( x ) watch at least two 20th century productions from each country listed on MDL (South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Thailand)
~ finished two for every country but Korea, oops!
(✔︎) watch at least two dramas/movies from each decade from the 1930s to the 1990s (done as of July 24th)

Bonus:
(✔︎) watch one or more film(s) released in or before the 1920s (done as of July 25th)
(✔︎) watch at least one 20th century production from the Philippines (which was added to the MDL database in February) (done as of Mar 5th)

I usually watch a few Japanese classics every year but this year I'd like to watch even more 20th century films and TV productions, expanding to other countries as well! And since I've previously never seen anything from Asian cinema that's older than Seven Samurai (1956), I also want to find earlier works to watch.
