Stream it or skip it?

skip it. The storyline didn't cut for me and as much as I ❤ Park Bo Young, there's new or interesting about this drama. 

Skip it. I'll never understand how some people compare this drama to the legend that is Goblin. The female lead is arrogant and infinite L's Angel Dan is...  Dull, at best. 

Skip it. As much as I loved the main couple, the shows depressing undertone makes it hard stick with it long term.

IT DEPENDS. I have to admit I got a little bored the first time I watched this drama.  I didn't really connect with the characters and felt like the writers stalled the plot for a big part of the séries. However, the show has many redeeming moments and if you don't mind the slow pace, defiitly give it a go. 

Stream it. It's not so much a drama, but a 10 episode long string of clichés. I promise it 'll be worth your time. 

Skip it / stay tuned only for the 2nd lead couple. Unpopular opinion, but I found the leading lady super annoying whilst her romatic interest varied between appearing dumb or acting as if he could take on the world without thinking of the consequences. The only thing that saved this drama was the storyline between Dan and "Albert", one of my ultimate OTP's. If they were the main, this review would have been VERY different. 

Skip it. I don't even know what to write, the whole drama is just...  Meu. 

Skip it. I apologize to everyone who thinks this drama is iconic, but I just can't bring myself to like it. 

Stream it. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND GO WATCH THIS ICONIC PIECE OF TV IF YOU HAVEN'T YET.  CAN'T STRESS IT ENOUGH.

Stream it. Encounter has everything: A wonderful script, compelling and complex character, great cinematography and it all blends perfectly in an iconic romance drama that is sure to tug at your heart strings. 

Skip it/ stream it for the laughs. As much as I love KJW and PMY, there's really nothing new about this drama, and if it's laughs you're looking for,  What's wrong with secretary Kim?  does a much better job at it, even though the main couple is not as good. 

Skip it/ stream it for the awesome male lead. This story itself is nothing new and the leading lady was as entertaining to watch as a dead bird. However, Jun-ho's Gang Doo will forever be one of my favourite fictional man/ boyfriend extraordinaire. He was smart, sensible and wise beyond his years. Sure, he was a little rough around the edges, but he works on his issues throughout the show and his devotion to his girlfriend is admirable.. Specially, because he could do so much better. 

Stream it. This one has everything- multi-dimensional, realistic characters, a wonderful script and a cast that brings the characters to life perfectly. JKY and Nana have TONS of chemestry, and don't need a kissing scene to make the viewers realize they're crazy about each other. On top of that, the supporting characters are well-written and equally incredible. 

Stream it. I'll never stop singing this show's praises. Wow! What a masterpiece. While it's not a relaxing show you can put on and switch off your brain, it's everything you could wish for, and more. Life forces the viewer to think about prominent questions of modern life, such as the effects of private sector forces interfering with basic healthcare.  Can't recommend enough.
