In December 2022, he entered the Mnet survival show "Boys Planet" representing Top Class Entertainment, where he was eliminated in the 8th episode, ranking 31st. Then, in July 2023, he participated in the Tencent Video survival show "The Next 2023", where he ended up ranking 24th. Later, in June 2025, he entered the Mnet survival show "Boys II Planet" representing EE-Media, where he was eliminated in the 2nd episode after ranking "NO STAR".
In 2026, he moved to GRID Entertainment, where he was set to debut in their upcoming boy group sometime in 2026, but it was later revealed through their documentary "Idol Till I Die" that their debut had been cancelled due to the company's agency representative finding the trainees unprepared to make a debut and labeling the debut project as a "failure".
