He made his debut as a soloist in October 2019 with the EP, "Monologue". A few months later, he joined a group of friends from college and formed a co-ed rock back as they wanted to showcase their skills in several competitions. They were included in the 2020 compilation album for the "Indiestance 2020" contest.
As part of YdBB, he made his debut in March 2021 as the electric guitarist with their first digital single, "Letter". In 2022, they decided to enter the "Great Seoul Invasion" and finished in 3rd place.
Up to that point, they were not able to find any representation. However, after the show ended, they signed an exclusive contract with Faction A Like (팩션 어 라이크).
