Candy Yang is a Taiwanese actress, voice actress, singer, and TV hostess, born in Taipei, Taiwan. She began her career at the age of four, when she was discovered by a talent scout while shopping with her mother. This led to her debut in commercials, television dramas, and films. She first appeared in a Friesland Milk Powder TV commercial by Hung Hsin Co., Ltd. (鴻信有限公司).

Yang graduated from Chilin Elementary School (吉林國民小學), Changan Junior High School (長安國民中學), and Chingmei Girls' Senior High School (景美女子高級中學). She holds double Bachelor's Degrees in Radio & Television and Diplomacy from National Chengchi University (國立政治大學).

In addition to her acting career, Yang writes a column for the Sunday supplement of the United Daily News (《聯合報》週日副刊) and frequently gives lectures on voice expression at universities and colleges.

On December 29, 2016, she co-founded the creative duo Miss.Beau! with producer Sung Hsiao Kuei (宋小圭) and released her first Taiwanese-language album, Yang Meili’s Youth Nakasi (楊美麗的青春娜卡西).

Her mother is Lin Jung Chiao (林榮嬌).
