Realslow, also known as Wheesung, is a South Korean R&B singer, record producer, and musical theatre actor. He initially attended Sun Moon University with a journalism major but dropped out and attended Gukje Digital University and Kyung Hee University's Graduate School of Communication. He is currently under his own independent label called Realslow Company and is currently promoting under the stage name Realslow, which is the name he used when he was an underground singer.

In 2002, at the Golden Disc Awards, MBC Ten Singers Song Festival and ar Seoul Music Awards, he won Best New artist and won R&B Award in the SBS Gayo Daejeon.

In 2003, he won Main Prize (Bonsang) at the Golden Disc Awards, SBS Gayo Daejeon, and Seoul Music Awards; at the MBC Ten Singers Song Festival, he won Top Ten Singer (Bonsang), and at the Mnet Music Video Festival, he won Best Male Artist.

In 2004, he won Main Prize (Bonsang) at the Golden Disc Awards; at the KBS Music Awards, he won Best Singer (Bonsang); at the Korean Music Awards, he won Musician of the Year; at the MBC Ten Singers Song Festival, he won Top Ten Singer (Bonsang), and at the Mnet Km Music Video Festival, he won Best R&B Video.

In 2005, he won Main Prize (Bonsang) at the Golden Disc Awards and at SBS Gayo Daejeon; at the KBS Music Awards, he won Best Singer (Bonsang), and at the Mnet Km Music Video Festival, he won Best R&B Performance. In 2007, at the Golden Disc Awards, he won Main Prize (Bonsang).

In 2014, at the Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards, he won K-Pop Top Ten Singer Award; at the SBS MTV Best of the Best, he won Best Male Solo; and at the Seoul Success Awards, he won Singer Grand Prize.

In 2018, at the Soribada Best K-Music Awards, he won Voice Award. In 2019, at the Korean Arts and Culture Awards, he won Music Producer Award.
