Jay Beom Park, known professionally by his Korean name Park Jae Beom and also as Jay Park, is an American singer, dancer, producer, composer, businessman and former member of 2PM (투피엠). He graduated from Apgujeong High School and later dropped out of the Business Administration program at Dankook University. He was born in Edmonds, Washington (near Seattle), and before debuting, he spent nearly 5 years as a trainee.

In early 2008, JYP Entertainment (JYP엔터테인먼트) launched a reality/documentary show called "Hot Blood Men" capturing the training program of 14 trainees. After 3 were eliminated, the remaining 11 trainees joined to create the group ONE DAY (원데이), and almost immediately, they were split into two separate sub-groups, ballad-oriented 2AM (4 trainees) and hip-hop/R&B-oriented 2PM (7 trainees).

He made his debut in September 2008 as 2PM's leader, lead vocalist, lead dancer and rapper with their first single album, "Hottest Time of Day". The following year, they began achieving commercial success when the single "Again & Again" reached #1 in the South Korean charts.

In September 2009, he became involved in controversy when comments from his MySpace account made in 2005 were published in South Korean media, where he criticized the country's way of living. He returned to Seattle almost immediately and officially withdrew from 2PM in January 2010.

He returned to South Korea in July 2010 and signed with SidusHQ, re-debuting as a solo artist with his first EP, "Count On Me".

In September 2013, he became the founder and CEO of a hip-hop-focused label called AOMG (에이오엠지). Then, in May 2017, he announced the co-creation of a new global hip-hop label called H1GHR Music (하이어뮤직) alongside producer Cha Cha Malone.

In December 2021, he stepped down from being the CEO of both companies. In March 2022, he established another company, More Vision (모어비전) and began getting involved in other businesses, such as producing soju while also continuing to promote as a solo artist.
