Danson Tang, a Taiwanese actor and singer, was born in Keelung, Taiwan. His father passed away in a construction accident when he was 13, leaving his mother to support him and his older sister alone. As the only male in the family, he took on significant responsibilities from a young age.

After graduating from Keelung Private De-Xin High School, Tang initially attended Asia University before transferring to Hsing Wu University's Applied English department.

In 2003, while working at a sushi restaurant in Japan, Tang was scouted by Taiwan's GTV drama department. After three months of consideration, he decided to pursue a career in entertainment.

Tang made his debut in the idol drama "The X-Family" on GTV in May 2004. Later, on July 9, 2007, he signed with Avex Taiwan and released his debut album "Ai Wo" on August 17.

Beyond his entertainment career, Tang is involved in entrepreneurship, owning the clothing store brand HOTHEART and running the Japanese curry restaurant "Shin Gao Xuan."
