Her directorial debut short film "Tsuyako" screened at over 100 film festivals worldwide, winning 47 awards and 3 nominations including DGA Award for the Best Female Student Filmmaker, Future Filmmaker's Award and Audience Award at Palm Springs International Short Fest and was qualified for an Oscar in 2012 and 2013. Her Dance Short film "Where We Begin" premiered at 2015 Tribeca Film Festival and was nominated for Best International Short film. The film has won 8 awards at film festivals.
With the script of "37 Seconds", she had participated in Sundance Institute/NHK Screenwriting workshop, Film Independent’s Screenwriting and Directing Lab in 2017. The film was completed in January 2019 and celebrating its world premiere at 2019 Berlin International Film Festival in their Panorama section.
