Lee Ji Yeon, known professionally as Lee Soo Young, is a South Korean singer. She graduated from Bundang Jungang High School.

She made her debut in November 1999 with her first album, "I Believe", quickly becoming one of the country's top ballad singers. In 2003 and 2004, she won the Most Popular Singer Award, equivalent to the Grand Prize, at the MBC "Top 10 Singers Music Festival" and she is the one of South Korea's best-selling solo female artist and has one of the highest cumulative album sales in history. She is represented by New Era Project (뉴에라프로젝트).
