Shen Lei is a Chinese stage and voice actor.
He graduated from Shanghai Theatre Academy and currently works at Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre (上海话剧艺术中心). In 2001 he won the "Best Supporting Role" at Zuo Lin Dramatic Arts Awards organized yearly by Shanghai Dramatics Arts Centre.
His nickname " 鸟哥" (bird brother) comes from his first work as a voice actor, in which he dubbed the parrot Iago in the Disney movie "Aladdin".
