Vichaya est diplômé en architecture de l’Institut de technologie de King Mongkut Ladkrabang, et n’a eu qu’une formation en musique. Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il s’est joint au groupe La-Ong-Fong et a poursuivi sa carrière en musique plutôt qu’en architecture. Après La-Ong-Fong, il a travaillé avec le groupe T-Bone, cofondateur de Hualampong Riddim en 1999 en tant que label indépendant pour gérer le groupe ainsi que son propre projet électro-pop The Photo Sticker Machine.
Bientôt, Hualampong Riddim commence à produire de la musique pour la publicité, puis se lance dans la musique de film, en commençant par le film indépendant Kon Jorn en 1999. Vichaya a ensuite composé pour le film de Yuthlert Sippapak de 2003 ''February'' et co-écrit la partition de ''Last Life in the Universe'' pour Pen-ek Ratanaruang avec Jettamon Malayota.
Il a composé plusieurs autres œuvres pour Yuthlert et Pen-ek, et a depuis produit de nombreuses autres œuvres, y compris des œuvres réalisées avec le studio de cinéma GTH/GDH, dont The Teacher’s Diary (2014), Heart Attack (2015), A Gift (2016) et Bad Genius (2017), tous ont remporté le Suphannahong National Film Award pour la meilleure musique originale. En 2020, Vichaya a composé la bande originale de la mini-série thaïlandaise ''I Told Sunset About You''.
