Gary is from New Zealand, and has trained at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute (London), and Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School.

He is a skilled and dedicated actor and writer who loves finding the minutiae of the characters he portrays. Gary has a diverse skill set which includes basic stunt work, Wing Chun, and boxing. Gary has also served in the New Zealand military and can speak basic Cantonese. He has worked across film, television, theatre, and radio in dramatic and comedic roles.
