Kim Sung Nyeo is a South Korean actress and singer. She graduated from Jinmyeong Girls' High School and later obtained a bachelor's degree in Korean Traditional Music from Dankook University and a master's degree in Music from Chung-Ang University.

She made her debut as a singer in 1972 as part of a folk duo (alongside her younger sister) called DOVE SISTERS (비둘기 씨스터즈) with the single "Peasant Hunting". Then, she made her acting debut in 1976 with a role in the musical "The Ascension of Han Ne". She is also a professor at her alma mater and has created several theater troupes.
