I don't like the age gap in goblin either. I've never watched it till today.

Which is why I said gay people aren't a monolith. I just expressed myself and my opinions, just as other (hopefully gay) people expressed theirs too.

I never intended to speak over other queer people, so why is your reply to me on attack mode? I literally acknowledged others might have differing opinions to mine, and what might seem as not a big deal to me, might be a big deal to others.

I actually kinda... like it? If the romance is at the end of the show and between the two teenage boys, the actual plot isn't being affected as much as some people on tiktok made it out to be. There should be no romantic scenes between an adult and a teenager.

I'm glad those tiktoks came on my fyp. The kdrama gives me the vibes of those 2013-2017 Kdramas with a cheap budget, but still enjoyable.

If it's just the ending that is being changed, I don't quite see the issue. It's not like the romance was a major plot in the story. Btw, before anybody attacks me, I'm queer.

If any queer person, I don't mean random straight women bl fetishizers, I mean queer people are offended by the erasure. Your feelings are valid. We aren't a monolith. What might not offend me, might offend you, and that doesn't invalidate your feelings

There are so many queer stories being told out there these days. I'm sure that a day would come where all queer stories will be broadcasted on tv channels without worry of commercial success or failure. So, let's comfort ourselves by watching the numerous already existing queer media out there. The future for our representation is still so bright.

When I heard wedding impossible was being adapted, I expected it to be as good and successful as what lovely runner is currently getting.

One month later looking back at this show, this is one of the most annoying kdrama fumbles of all time

From an 8.4 rating to 7.9. This was so disappointing.

Yes I think the writers were going for an annoyingly cute personality, but he's simply just annoying.

I know, the characters in this show are extremely flawed.

Him being ignorant of his own selfishness while calling Dohan selfish is a human thing to do.

I was just explaining why the whole selfishness conversation is happening in the comments and why no one is being as objective as they should be.

Then the writers shouldn't have made Jihan call Dohan selfish

Jihan was the first to use the word selfish on dohan. He caused this chain reaction of the watchers calling dohan selfish, then others who saw how the unfair and non objective narrative was being painted began defending dohan, and pointing out jihan's hypocrisy and selfishness too.

The day the episode that Jihan called dohan selfish dropped, this comment section was full of people repeating the words Jihan used to describe dohan, without being objective.

The more people that like jihan's and Ahjung's characters and have tunnel vision to their romance keep solely describing dohan as selfish, the more the selfish conversation will continue.

The selfish thing came about because Jihan used the word to describe Dohan, in the first place.

Which seems hypocritical since jihan is selfish too. To me he's the most selfish in the show.

At this point in the plot development, they're at the same level of quality to me. The only saving grace in wedding impossible, is that the main leads are acting slightly better than the leads in my demon, but they both suffer from a substandard plot.

And as much as it hurts to admit, I could feel the chemistry in the my demon couple, more than the couple in wedding impossible. The angst was unfortunately angsting properly.

So, if I judge the two Kdramas by their individual elements, they are sadly on the same level.

Which falls into one of the three possible scenarios I listed out. Having tunnel vision to the main leads and their romance.

I think the people who are replying to me aren't reading my comment at all. You're just regurgitating what I said in my comment.

Suffer an attack from what exactly? The only subject of unnecessary attack for queer representation I've seen is Dohan's character, not the show itself

I can't wait for more people to catch up with the episodes, so that the ratings can drop. 8.4 is to generous for this cluster fuck of a plot. I'd rather sit through my demon again. TWICE
