I'm starting to lose interest because of this dumb love square (or is it a pentagon with SML's wife included?). Comedy flew out the window in the first few episodes, now it's a typical soap about self-destructive FL, using typical female logic where she says one thing to her men, but wants them to do the opposite.
And those men, being simple creatures, taking it at face value and doing what she says, making their own life shit. SML's also a coward who can't escape his ambition to prove himself before his shitty family. ML seems to be getting it more correct, but he needed FL to basically explain her logic to him before hand to understand what the ef she's been wanting him to do.

With 4 episodes left, I guess there's gonna be a typical romantic dating phase and then the worst point where they get exposed, and then after some struggles HE. I just hope nobody actually goes to the US, because of some noble idiocy, to force cliche LDR on the audience.

Similar in what way? Coroner's Diary was difficult for me to finish since it was a boring, slow af slog. Though I recall ML got into FL almost from the get go out of nowhere and that drama was more romance focused.

Here's it's a tight, fast paced detective plot about cases for the most part. If you're looking mainly for romance here, it's not the drama for you. Though I gotta say what they've done here in the end was way more believable and sweet than in Coroner's Diary, or, say, Wanted Detective. Well thought out, interconnected with the main plot and had nice, meaningful dialogues with none of that time wasting soap.

Mr. Queen ending was such a downer. I hope they won't end this drama like that.

I also like that FL knows he's a villain to be avoided. I fkn hate love triangles.

I couldn't even get into those first two. Filing for Love is ok, but they misled people so bad with comedy trailers, it's actually just another tropey romance drama. And what they make audit do there is just ridiculous bs.

Realistically though, she wouldn't have been able to learn such fine commanding presence and eloquence unless being born into nobility, they been teaching them girls to be arrogant bishes since birth.

Uh, to each their own. In any case, what I'm trying to say is that the mask isn't hiding his features at all, looks like a decorative bs.

Btw, why is he wearing that stupid mask? It hides nothing. It's like that lameass mask from Legend of the Female General cdrama. They said something about his eye injury, but his eye is clearly fine.

Tell me about it. I guess these leads are not baby faced enough.

If they gonna do Mr. Queen ending - immediately -3 points to the final score.

Was anybody still seriously waiting for S2? It looked like a wishful thinking from the very start.

I don't like that both male leads got reincarnated along with FL, this is so beaten to death. Now of course they gonna imply that the main couple is fated 🙄 and two-faced SML plotted their demise. Could have been better with a fresh start, like the title implies, instead looks like she dragged ancient history along with her to repeat in the present.

There is romance, but it's not the main focus and is a slow burn, this drama for the most part is a grim detective historical focused on cases. Romance gets featured prominently in later episodes. Since it's not the primary focus it got tagged here as "slight romance", but it's rather misleading. Slight is something akin to side glances and flirting, imho. These guys here almost got married twice and were riding off into season 2 for a third round, lol.

Whole OST is very good in this drama.

The comedy so far here is kinda meh. It turned out to be a more seriously toned, somber drama. We'll see how it goes, but so far it's all rather tropey and how they forced the leads to work with each other looks rather tacked on.
Realistically, FL should have first ended up being taken by the police, then have had her mental capacity checked by some doctor. But she carefully avoided all the usual funny traps and adapted to new reality very quickly without getting her mind blown too much.
