Yea, most likely FL is the sole survivor. We just don't know what happened yet. There's also one guy who's been helping her from the very beginning, but it's unclear whether he's from the mountain or another one of the graduates.

I've read the novel's summary and I like the dynamics in the drama more. These historical novels tend to have way too many chapters, characters and politics. No way so much stuff can be translated into the drama media, it'd be too bloated and people'd get tired of watching it. Ain't nobody got time to watch 80 episodes dramas nowadays.

I've read that FL actress's previous drama Unveil: Jadewind also had the same type of historical novel and got heavily reworked to focus on suspensful detective drama. They got rid of all that boring political stuff and dynasty wars for cases and main revenge plot. And it was def the right call.

She's her dead imaginary friend. Everyone on the mountain are dead.

7 who were burned were persecuted graduates outside the mountain, it gets explained in recent episode. They were not on the mountain when they died. They refused to cave under interrogation and got burned to death by the fat guy.

Wasn't that the first draft script writer who got offended her script wasn't used for the final version? And also who has plagiarism allegations? From what I've read her claims were already officially refuted, she's just some disgruntled person wanting to have her 15 minutes of glory. The actress absolutely has nothing to do with any of this, just another one of those recent bs stories to drag her through the mud. And sorry but not sorry, if there were more talented writers who could write the final script, then props to the showrunners for hiring them. Talent should trump everything else.

SML is totally delulu. Also, what a dumb way to write a character. He rejected her first because it would damage his reputation, then they both got married and now he wants to run away with her to damage both their reputations. Like, wtf, lol. Are there even two braincells that can be put together in his brain? If he so wanted her and didn't care for consequences, he could have just married her. Certainly wouldn't have been as big of a stain on his reputation as running away after getting married.

I can't get into lightheartedness either, it's like it's half-assed and not genuine either, everything feels not right, sad and forced because of FL's condition.

Yea, that's why I don't think anybody should waste their time on any ships with these characters. Personally, I've started skipping their scenes, especially SML. Just nope, don't care.

If she had any braincells, feminine guile and patience, she'd be doing what FL's been doing with ML since day one - gently trying to make SML to like her. Instead she thinks he'd suddenly be into her after she kills the woman he likes, lol. Sure, that'd bring her to his good graces, lol. Dumb af I tell ya xD

And they always have these dumb bishes in historical cdramas, they almost always end up dead. And it doesn't look they're reinventing any wheels here with this archetype.

Anyway, I don't care for either SML or SFL, both look like a royal waste of screen time just to annoy everybody. It's like dumb and dumber that deserve each other, lol.

She was set up with those onions by others and the plot implies ML was often mistreating his secretaries over nothing. And stress can be a huge factor for many illnesses. Also, it's not like FL character here is perfect and infallible. She'll understand that she was wrong in about 7 episodes, this drama is not simply about revenge.

They haven't explained yet why he ditched FL's mother yet. Was it simply because of her grandpa being the head of the Lishan academy? I see everyone avoids being implicated to have of any ties to that place, like it's a plague or smth. Even though officially it's not being condemned by law or anything.

Nah, she's stupid like a cruel child. I don't like infantile, morally bankrupt characters.

Well, this whole unhinged FL/Lishan mountain mystery is not in the novel, so who knows where they're going with this. My guess they're not gonna dare going into the real dark stuff and gonna more or less stick to the novel's overall plot with HE.

No, not the break up. If it's gonna happen like in the novel, FL will run away from the villains, fall from a cliff and will be presumed dead/missing for a couple of months.

It's because you get a dissonance from FL's character. We're shown she's clearly unwell mentally, but she also at the same time is very sharp minded, kind, cunning and vengeful. Lots of opposite things going on with her character, making it look like half the things she says are fake and not genuine, all with that innocent smile, leaving an unsettling feeling.

It would have made a nice thriller with unhinged FL, if they dared lean into it. But I guess we're gonna get some sort of healing plot for her down the line instead, if that's possible. She talks big about asking for help, but keeps quiet about her problems herself.

Forget about it. SFL is too dumb to know what's good for her. I'm predicting she's gonna die in the end because of her dumb plotting. It's an archetype in historical cdramas, they never end well.

Nobody knows what's gonna happen since the drama differs from the novel. In the novel there was a plot point when the leads got separated for while.

The third uncle needs more screen time, he's funny. He also looks like a positive influence for the nephew, that kid needs a dad and ML is totally absent in the household duties.

That 2ML is -1 to score from me already. I hate these delulu creepy types.
