This is some intense stuff. But these plots about maniacal evil chaebols with infinite power and money to make anything happen for lulz are really getting out of hand lately.

They've basically spilled all the beans already. I'm sure they'll show what happened later in detail, but nobody's even trying to keep it a mystery. Rather disappointing, tbh. Hopefully the comedy will be good.

They've explained it already. The left minister has all the real power and wants to marry his daughter to him to provide an heir. Then the minister plans to kill him and rule through his grandson. So the minister framed his wife that she killed his mother, then she was supposed to drink poison as punishment but was found drowned. Somebody apparently helped her survive somehow, but she has lost her memory. The drowned body was somebody else's obv.

Well, it was kinda funny, but there’s no intrigue from the get go. The villain, what happened to FL and the typical SML are introduced right in the first episode. ML is also your typical powerless king type who holds no power in court.
So far, a typical saeguk with nothing new. Probably gonna be entertaining only for the comedy.

That One Dollar Lawyer recommendation triggers me. That was such a huge disappointment and waste of superb actors talents.
I hope this new drama will have a better, unrushed plot.

Not a single funny joke. I think ML was miscast for this role.
FL is more or less ok. But everybody's acting feels very forced.

What's this gonna be about, I wonder. Are they gonna swap bodies for the whole drama? That'd be quite awkward, it's not like both characters are female like in Alchemy of Souls.

Who's got the age gap? All the main leads are around the same age.

You should stop posting these "scandalous" news. First of all, dating somebody is not a scandal, unless they're already married to somebody else. Second, nobody cares. People want to read drama news, not news about actors private affairs.

They also didn't clearly show his dead body with a hole in the head. The lawyer immediately pushed FL out of the room.
They also showed that the housekeeper was scared that somebody left a glass of half finished soju at the table, when the lawyer can't drink it and nobody else was in the house. She thought it was a ghost or smth.
It was very sus for quite some time.

Work contracts can always be terminated, it's not like a house rent contract or somesuch. And even those can be terminated easily, especially if you have a competent lawyer at your side.
I don't understand why they haven't been kicked out. Should have been fired back then for trying to harm FL when she was first running away. She's the wife of their employer, she should have done that right then and there.
Instead they are allowed to roam free in the house and stuff their faces like hogs, and wasting screen time in general.

We were only shown her being there around 3 times and even then she wasn't always teaching.

Well, the chairman twist was rather obvious if you were paying attention, however it's still a trashy drama.
Main problem being with too many people acting dumb and the plan being dumb in general.

Another problem is that they show how FL means so much to the villagers, even though she's been there not enough time to make any believable friends, or romantic relashionships. That she's always acting stone cold isn't helping here either. What's more, they show how she was such a good teacher and people miss her, when she was in that kindergarden like 3 times total. I mean, lol wut, guys? You barely know her.

And third, this drama's all over the place with often useless scenes with useless characters that lead nowhere. Was it supposed to be a 16 episodes drama that was rewritten maybe? We'll never know now...

It's actually amazing how this drama gets dumber with every new episode. One has to have a certain type of incompetence to write plots like that.

Isn't ML a bit too old to be playing these types of drama? The age gap is so big he can be FL's father, ffs.

Chingu saved her chingu, I guess that settles it that she's the real chingu, lol.
Anyway, the plot's still dumb and seeing how FL is getting wrecked by male pros, just makes this whole idea of her being able to defend herself very dumb in general. But of course, kdrama shenanigans will also keep her lucky.

It's simple math. 2 first episodes were good, 5 were not good at all.
A total waste of actors talents and plot is boring and dumb. If anyone needs to pull themselves together here, it's the writers.
