Duh I think you guys need to put yourself in characters' shoes and try to understand the things that goes on in their heads a little bit more. Jieli has been betrayed and backstabbed by so many ppl bc she had no parents and has never been in a good social status, so she has always been trying to not attach herself to anyone and only care about herself to not get hurt again and survive. She actually DOES care about Orchid a lot and has showed it countless number of times since she saved her but she just doesn't want to admit to it, it kind of hurts her pride and goes against her moral principle of not getting close to people, that's why she constantly denies being friends with her. It's really heartless of y'all saying you want her to betray Orchid smh...she's a good girl don't do her like that :(

I really hope Till the end of the moon takes a similar direction for the ml as clj. I read parts of that novel and the way ml r*ped and assaulted the female character a handful of times made me so so uncomfortable...I don't like watered down and whitewashed grey characters (and semi bad guys in general) in novel adoptions for non romance genres but I really hate romantic stories where the male character is toxic as hell and abuses and r*pes his supposed partner in the name of being an antihero so It's better for these kind of charachters to be calmed down a little bit lol, Thinking about anyone having a romantic relationship with a person like that disgusts me...they did a good job with dfqc here keeping him interesting enough, hope the screenwriters do tteotm's male lead justice as well.
