She was the chief screenwriter of lltg and she was also part of Rise of the phoenix's screenwriters' team (which is pretty crtically acclaimed drama) so she might be good we never know. Cdramaland is very unpredictable lol

that's actually not that long for a fantasy drama. He usually starts at the end of the year and finishes filming early next year to be able to have it air by the end of it

well gjm himself is pretty much always in a hurry to air his dramas very quickly so you can be hopeful lol

with that special effects technique he uses it's actually very likely for it to air by the end of 2025 bc the cgi processing doesn't need that much time

everyone's entitled to their own opinions I guess bc these are very well researched and super historically accurate Tang dynasty costumes and in my opinion they look 10 times more fashionable than those modernised tight clothes in most Tang dynasty dramas

really love how one of the mls is a theatre guy (love artsy mls give me more please) but ngl the failed pansori attempt when he was performing in ep 2 was kind of ridiculous 😭 jeongnyeon changed the standards forever I fear

I don't think it's ugly, it's just overdone.
Plus, Huang wei and her team do costume and styling for at least 6 out of every 10 cdramas and gjm dramas are the only ones where the male chars wear that headband thing so it's pretty logical to assume it's related to his taste in aesthetics.
