First of all, it's a good drama; it has an eerie tone, and the story is quite engaging and immersive. I initially thought there would be romance between Li Xian and Li Yi Tong, as they seemed to be a married couple in this drama, but considering how she kind of helped manipulate him, which led to the demise of his whole family, I don't see that happening anymore. It's more or less just going to be an all-out revenge against all of the members of the cult of swindlers. But one thing that doesn't sit well with me is the fact that ML is doing the same with the SFL's family too, not that extreme but still he is manipulating an innocent one too (not her father just her).

I suppose it's a match made in heaven 😂. One plays a second identity who is corrupt and imposing, does all the dirty work to get what he wants, while the other one commits arson, poisons him, is out for revenge without thinking of the consequences. Also, the dynamic is built in such a way that FL requires ML's help either directly or indirectly; her revenge would be much harder to achieve without him. From what I see, ML knows who FL is; thus, his yearning and obsession are justified, plus he is able to understand what FL is doing and why; he is also able to see her actual personality and not judge her by what she is doing.
Can't wait for the episode when she is able to connect the dots.

Final verdict before I exit this thread:
1. The show is good overall if we ignore some of the bad editing
2. It's a nice one-time watch
3. Must-watch if you are a fan of the actors playing ML and FL.
4. I have a conspiracy theory: I believe this drama was supposed to have 32 or 28 episodes, but maybe, to get the license or get past the censor board, they skipped a lot of scenes. This happens many times with C-dramas.
5. If you like healthy friendships, relationships, and understanding characters, something that is not stressful but rather relaxing. Go watch this drama.

I don't know why they make it this way were one of the leads is cold as hell and we end up feeling pity about the other one. While the other one never receives the emotions they invested and are usually thrown away just to end up trying to chase them back again.

All the creativity the cdrama authors have somehow ends towards the final episodes of the drama. They do whatever they can think of; one moment everything is good and perfect, the next it's total and utter chaos. This makes it quite hard to actually finish a cdrama, because there is usually a lot of nonsense that leaves a bad taste once it's over. For example, here they make FL and ML look like a perfect, understanding couple who have now dated for more than 5 years. But have to break up now due to the dumbest reason possible; in that, too, they show FL feels too nonchalant about it (I don't know if it's rectified later). Like, suppose something similar happens with someone I know; let's say person A breaks up with person B like this and acts all normal while B is working like hell to make things right. Trust me, I am never letting A go anywhere near 3 miles radius of B, because even if it's their trauma response, for me their credibility goes down the drain. I don't know why they wrote a FL who fights for her career her whole life, ready to throw away something else, or if not equal, at least of some importance (especially a person with feelings), just doesn't sit well with me. She would rather be like, "We are going to face this together; I am not going anywhere", rather she runs away, leaving behind everything. What if something similar happens in the future? You can't just gain that trust back in reality. If you think you can, you are terribly wrong.

Okay, so they give us a very healthy couple just to make them break up in the upcoming episodes, just so that at the end they are together again. Bro, just keep the story running the way it is; the actual viewers will stick around anyways cause they have held out so far.🥲🥲

Okay, so none of them are questioning why the guy on TV looks suspiciously similar to their CEO. I guess this is the 2nd or 3rd time Miles Wie has been shown on TV in this drama.😂🤣 Also, it was quite funny seeing FL's friends so nervous after saying something like, "he better be ready to face us"😂😂.

WTH is wrong with SFL? She should know how easy it is to get into scandals like this; rather than helping out, she is out there speaking whatever her brain could utter at the moment. She just assumed that FL and ML broke up, and goes on and on about how bad FL's choice of man is. Likw Girl she isn't the one dating a freeloader playboy, if you need reassurance or validation don't talk bad about people who are actually making some difference with the work they do and are happy in relationship while working out on their differences.

I totally understand but we can't rule out the fact that even that wasn't shown well in execution due bad editing.

I am telling you, the one who made the cut for today's episodes has never seen or read a story before; they picked one of the most important parts of the series, but not to put extra effort into it, but rather to trim it down to a drain. The build-up of 12 episodes now feels like a total waste. There were so many fillers in the previous episodes; they could have just cut those out and put the saved screen time here. Hope they put these scenes in as some extra video or behind-the-scenes or something.

What the hell? They trimmed 4 episodes of content into 1-1.5 episodes. Today's episodes feel totally out of place, with no flow between cuts and no background; we were just thrown from one part to the other. ML confesses; one character then dies out of nowhere. We don't get any insight into it and have to move on in the next 5-10 minutes. FL realised too fast that she likes ML, no struggle with her emotions (she had a titanium, built 20-foot-thick wall in front of her heart till now, but it pretty much melted in 20 minutes into the episode). She gets SML's gift, and then we are now in ML's house (for a second I thought she was dreaming, but the dream didn't end, and I was like wtf?). It feels like they are dating, but they are not; it feels like i skipped a lot of episodes, but I also didn't look at the timeline. I literally paused in the archery part and came to comment cause of how uneasy it all felt. Even the archery scene should be like 15 minutes long; it feels i am watching it at 4x or something. Wth??????

Okay, so her friend was giving advice to the other one, but FL was like Let me take it seriously. " Out of context, maybe, but that proves a point, so yeah, ML is a scumbag." What the hell🤣🤣. Bro seriously isn't even doing anything other than wanting to talk to her. (Although I understand the author writing things this way, it was the other way around a few years ago with C-dramas and K-dramas; only the places have been switched, but the flow is still the same.)

ML is slick as hell, he literally said, "Anything you like in this room, you can have it," while he is standing inside it too. I guess FL can just take the whole airline instead of a collectible anytime she wants.🤣🤣

Most probably and we all know its gonna be a recipe for disaster.

One could see how Mr. Bai's soul left his body when the cake got messed up. Bro literally stole the other cake to save himself and ran for his life.🤣 Best character so far in the drama.
On a side note, from the trailer of the next episode, it seems like nothing notable is going to happen in tomorrow's episode either. MangoTV is making this drama last closer to a 40-episode timeline, with only 24 episodes in stock.

It felt quite natural how he fell for her. Well, one thing's for sure: it's not because she has become a captain. Bro is the freaking owner of the airline. It was more about when he got to know more about her struggles, her qualities, and how she has now achieved her dream, and that too on her own, that got him interested (not romantically but at a stage of admiration). He is clearly shown to be caring, although a bit arrogant, but he has reasons for his actions; especially the misunderstanding in episode 1 was kind of understandable, plus he felt hella guilty when he came to know what happened to her due to his decision, which also led him to want to get her forgiveness. He did feel a bit relieved that he didn't accidentally tarnish her dreams. Even the reason behind him cancelling the program is explained quite well. Now their arguments have become more like bickering between the 2, although due to FL's defensive personality it's gonna be a hell of a road for him to even get a bit closer to her. Cause people who are that defensive due to a trauma response put up more walls with people who they subconsciously know may become important to them. Lastly, I think they are intentionally making ML look more interested and tolerant of FL because she is that defensive right now. No one can break through those walls if they are going to take their own pride seriously, which usually ends up happening with people who are too defensive (they end up alone, not just romantically but in all other aspects of relationships, like family, friends, etc.)

In one episode, we think something's gonna happen, and in the next we are thrown under the bus by some twist or misunderstanding. FL was a bit jealous of SFL when she saw her together with ML, and the hospital photo triggered her quite a bit. But that was completely foreshadowed by her sadness due to her mother. So now FL, occupied by her very valid sadness, does not have the energy to realise any progress in her feelings for the ML, and we also have ML thinking that he read into it too much, and there is nothing at all in between them. So now they are farther from where they started. Great!!! At this pace and a 1-episode schedule, I am gonna age 50 years waiting for them to be together. At least give me 2 episodes a day!!!!!
