Okay so basically the Zenxi army who had the biggest chance of winning the war and suppressing the rebellion has now lost one of the most important strategic locations as well as a major part of its forces. Is LCF crazy😠 doesn't his pie-sized brain understand that Li Ni and Zenxi's army was something everyone was wary about as they had the ability to win against both the Cui family and the Rebellion army if they were to fight them individually? and both were waiting for Li Ni to attack the other side and become weak enough to be defeated. The Cui family needed the Zenxi army to suppress the rebellion, if not for ML helping them here and there just because he liked the FL they would not have it all that easily. Maybe LCF is just too overconfident as he has always been carried by FL and has done nothing other than sitting on the head position but seriously they just kind of gave everything away to the Villian now his main army is coming back, his main worry which was the Zenxi army is now weaker than ever before there is a discord between Cui family and Zenxi thus no chance of cooperation again in the future at least not from Zenxi's side, plus he already had an army cornering the Cui families stronghold, so he basically won the war without much effort🤣🤣. I felt so bad for the Zenxi army they are really innocent compared to every other party in this drama, they looked so betrayed by the fact that they were attacked by the Cui family. They literally have been making many sacrifices due to instructions from ML to help the Cui army, and even though the situation wasn't clear in the Tong pass or something they still went ahead and helped the Cui family, or else all the Cui army leaders stationed there would have died. Later they even kept them in their own camp and provided them treatment, funerals for the soldiers as well as security. ML and his people's reaction to this is also truly understandable they all know FL is the one who commands everything and is also ruthless enough to carry out something like this moreover she is always informed about even the smallest of things by her people, paired up with the fact that she also has been continuously deceiving them all this time and the way the ML made sense about her actions after they left Xichang it's no wonder everyone suspects FL. This is like the story of the boy who cried wolf where no one believed the boy when he was telling the truth because he has always been telling lies thus never earned the people's trust, I actually thought Zenxi army would just revolt against ML after all the things that they had to go through due to him trying to help her and her army.
I have a feeling that the crown prince's child will be the emperor and just like how in rebirth for you the FL, as she was from the royal family, acted as a regent for the emperor here Li Ni due to his merits as well as blood ties may get selected as a regent because from this drama's trailer, there are scenes that look like they are from a palace so maybe he will become the regent for the kid emperor and the other half of the drama will be people trying to frame FL's family or ML's army for things so as to get hold of the regent's seat or remove the powerful loyal people from the court.
after watching today's episode I really really wish that the crown prince's child survives so that ML's father can not become the emperor because it would be a total disaster just like how the Cui family has been describing for a good portion of the story. I would rather have ML's family plot some kind of treason or get assassinated than for them to create some problems for ML. In those times anything against filial duty was treated way too harshly and family members were forgiven for everything due to blood ties thus ML can't even abandon them if he wants rather even for his achievements the whole family will get the merits. Meaning if he wins the war which he of course will all his family members will be promoted to much higher positions and will gain a hell lot of power.
In ep5 is it just me but I have the impression that ciulin is much more ruthless than Lini. Lini seems to value…
It's actually due to differences in their experiences. If we see ML's life he has been for most of his career been a soldier at the borders so he is naturally adapt to war tactics and upfront battle plus soldier in those situations form deeper and valuable bonds vary rapidly after even small exchanges and they value them a lot. Moreover due to all this he was also not much exposed to the politics that happens in the nation. On the other hand FL was born and raised in a military family (more of a clan) and so has been exposed to a fair share of politics plus as their conditions wasn't as extreme as ML's thus they have different set of principles and rules, like they view everyone as enemy who are outside of their clan they don't collaborate with others until it benefits them and they take longer to trust, only value their own people, etc.
currently watching EP9, he didn't loan the city, it's just her passing through it and he also had something he…
With loan the city I meant to give it to her for what she has planned as in to loan a car so that someone doesn't need to take a taxi kind of situation not in serious way. My main concern is he isn't even considering a possibility of hidden attack, he just trusts FL too much opposed to how much he actually knows about her. Because letting an army pass through you estate is a big deal you only let your closest allies do something like that as it makes your soldier put their guard down increasing the possibility of something similar to a Trojan horse attack. I too hope it isn't the way I interpreted it as or else it will be quite disappointing because in the end ML will eventually lose his easy going persona and will become too much political if he experiences betrayal after giving so much trust. Let's see how it goes maybe it's just one of the flaws which will get fixed with his character development.
The ml don't really have anything else to do in life. The first episode showed how he is lonely in a big house.…
True they should have put something in the plot for him to do independent of the story, like how FL is also someone who takes care of her family, or her brother who works as an officer or literally any character in the plot so far, it's like other than the plots progress he doesn't even have any identity of his own.
wait wtf did ML just loan a freaking city to FL so that her army can pass through it considering the chances that the whole situation can turn out bad for his army if things go south plus instead of asking for anything else in return he just agreed to bet everything over. Isn't it too contrasting considering how conscious and witty his character was shown at the start of the drama? I don't hate romance rather it's my go-to genre but seeing it being executed this way kinda makes me uncomfortable. He may be the marshal of the Zenxi army but his achievements are not his alone rather his whole army has put in efforts to achieve those so he can't just make decisions without considering them, this started out as funny and romantic when he helped FL actively but it kept getting worse. In contrast, FL is constantly considering her army at every point she would rather have ML killed or take over his army or something rather than do what ML is doing. In the future what is he going to do will he gift the whole empire to FL's family on the condition of being able to marry her?
I just noticed that in episode 4 when ML and FL are talking about the case he says "I am not a man who will disappoint you" The drum sound in the background sounded like a heartbeat and as the camera was on FL maybe the writer is hinting us start of her feelings. Other than that I feel like ML is like a hidden character in a game who is very powerful yet is available only in locked scenarios😂 or when special conditions are met because he isn't on the scene most of the time and whether it is the king, the villain, ML's brother, or FL, he is the one who they go to for sorting the mess they have created or are in or else he is just actively sorting their mess😂😂.
I really don't want Yi Chan to lose his hearing, I know this drama could just be trying to teach us that life is full of problems and struggles but we should not give up but rather try to live the life we want while trying to understand other people's struggle too, etc. But I think even though that is the case it's such a waste if nothing changes in the future. An ending with Yi Chan studying in college, healthy, and in love with Cheong Ah, while not leaving music by keeping the band alive thus instead of 1 artist we have the whole band in the future working in the industry. Cheong Ah's step-mom gets kicked out of the house and she lives happily with her father who isn't out of the picture as things changed after Eun Gyeol changed the past. Eun Gyeol and his brother are born earlier 😂😂 and live their lives without going through the suffering they did in their childhood. Just seems like the recipe for the best ending.
I love how this drama is only out 8 episodes and it threw a huge curve ball against the norm in cdrama and we…
True, the ML and FL fit the plot perfectly as the Times of war call for action and strategies, it is bound to have conflicts specially the crude politics. Here even though it looks like ML is soft hearted it's not because he is completely lovesick, rather he just forgives easily because each time FL does something he has already more or less figured it all and stops it mid way or partially which cannot happen if his emotions were the one in control. Same for FL her job is to make sure her army lives and thrives and she also has to ultimately make her father the emperor, all this cannot happen if she has to fight head on all the time it's just not very efficient.
I think that has stopped kind of a long time ago most of the Cdramas and kdramas in recent years have not used…
I know but there too you will find fans who will complain about it. And I think you are right about people still not hating the drama for it just like here we are complaining yet not giving up on the drama😂.
So who has more power and Intellegence? Li Ni or Chui Lin?
I think if we are considering raw strength or fighting tactics then Li Ni but for political intelligence Cui lin they kind of complete each other there🤣😂. But overall they are on par with each other to the point that they can even lead a drama separately, one with just ML and one with just FL they are that powerful.
in almost every drama ML reap benefits from FL 's feelings , but this time it changes so i am quite happy . and…
I think that has stopped kind of a long time ago most of the Cdramas and kdramas in recent years have not used this😅 atleast the one's that I have watched and also it doesn't matter if it's FL or ML what's wrong is still wrong. And if ML was the one doing all this then people here would still not be okay with those things.😅🙂
I too feel that he treats her more like a friend and is kind of playing with her meaning he let's her do things…
actually I am not that much concerned about the young master he is just a placeholder when FL is not around to lead her people 😂 if not for ML feeling jealous due to what FL told him he would never even consider him as someone to give much thought about🤣. Rather I am more concerned about the new girl who was introduced in today's episode because what if ML uses her for his scheme against FL in future after some misunderstanding because around that time FL's character development would be nearly completed and I don't think after her character development she will be okay with suffering through the same schemes that she is executing at present.
I think male lead is smart and he is not a lovesiker When it comes to his army watch the ep 14 preview FL is too…
I too feel that he treats her more like a friend and is kind of playing with her meaning he let's her do things even though he already knows is going to be disadvantages to him and takes normal petty revenge like throwing her water to teasing her lightly which is more like the case as soldier are often soft-hearted for their comrades and families and don't know much of politics but this also shows good FL is in terms of politics. As they go above and beyond irrespective of consequence to get what they want which I think is really necessary considering this is a war drama. I guess they would be the strongest team if they work together yet I don't think that is going to even happen.
Oh man, the more I watch this drama the more I think that FL is much more formidable than ML😨, not just ML the whole of Zenxi army is soft-hearted😅 beneath the rough exterior they might be the most powerful in war but are not used to things other than war tactics and they do things more from the front than to play around with people or get involved in politics. FL is more ruthless in those aspects she would rather do everything to achieve her goal even though it makes are untrustworthy in front of everyone else other than her own army, and ML lets her make use of him due to his soft spot for her there is nothing for her to fear at all in this drama because she knows he will give in at the end or things will eventually get sorted out. I still didn't like the fact that FL just kind of left ML to die he more or less helped himself out of the situation with Hua Li where all she did was to tell zenxi army that ML was there which is nothing compared to what ML has done for her till now. But I think after what happened in today's episode where she used his feelings against him even though things will get clear eventually but ML will now become wary of her if a similar situation occurs or something goes wrong or worst case scenario he might do the same in the future which is also highly likely because FL's dad wants to become the emperor and we all know from the trailer that is not going to happen.
Not sure why but I like episode 1 and episode 2 a lot than episode 3 and 4. Episode 1 made me hate FL family.I…
My theory is that someone wanted to kill the ML (maybe his elder brother) because after getting a call he left the museum as if something really bad has happened. The situation of FL was quite spontaneous for anyone to have planned anything beforehand, also she was the one who turned her car and maybe then she accidentally got in between ML's car and the trucks collision. And now they both have returned to the past to take revenge, as the pacing between ML and FL is also really fast and somethings like ML putting a canvas in FL's room even though they aren't close enough for him to know that FL likes to draw as a hobby, kind of affirms this.
The FL's idea of revenge is too simple, she is up against way too many screwed people for that. As she is too kind and has some trauma I don't want her to be like them and use underhanded methods to achieve things but she should at least try not to fall into these very obvious-looking traps, because including episode 4 there are at least 2 videos against her, even the many things she did to achieve her very simple revenge plan also has many downsides that can be used to draw a story against her. I really like this drama as ML and FL are so sweet and likable but the way things are moving for the revenge part of the story I am having a really bad feeling about it.
I felt so bad for the Zenxi army they are really innocent compared to every other party in this drama, they looked so betrayed by the fact that they were attacked by the Cui family.
