i don't think it's that he doesn't remember, i think he knows bc any normal person after seeing their friend get slightly dizzy wouldn't immediately suggest going to the hospital to check it out. he's probably trying to not make himself look suspicious like he knows something about nut (something that even nut doesn't know by that point) that he really can't have known in any normal circumstances. all he can do to help nut is telling him to take it easy, go to the hospital regularly, and follow the doctor's orders

i feel like win should have known about chai's mother and her situation with alcohol... idk like they seemed like really good friends and they obviously knew each other for years and probably got closer and closer with everything happening to them. in 1st ep i think win was telling nut that chai also died some years after him and they probably met up in heaven, idk like i feel like win should have known about chai's mother. he also could have gotten any other gift to ""bribe"" chai's mother with but he knew to specifically get alcohol idk i think it's a low ball move but i could be wrong

also i dont care what anybody says the over the top melodramatic reactions are awesome and they've got me giggling behind my hands and kicking my feet in joy. some people just don't like to enjoy whimsy 🥀💔

i would say the conversations in this show are the heart of it. the first confession scene in the rain, them elaborating on their feelings on their "first date" at the restauarant, them clearing up the air about the awkwardness of the kiss on their actual first date at the aquarium, kanade and his coworker at the cafe (my 2nd fav convo so far) talking about the other coworker's unrequited feeling (a really good example of how different perspectives on boundaries and rejection can manifest in people), kanade rejecting sumire and them both crying and becoming closer at the end bc of it. this show really values communication to be the healthiest aspect of a relationship-- even if its platonic, which i'm always a big fan of. we're halfway through the series and i'm rlly hoping they keep it up like this and make it even better and don't fuck it up horrendously 🙏🏼🙏🏼

i love how this show values communication. every issue that pops up is dealt with a little bit of letting each other have space, letting them have a little while to stew in their own anxiety, and then finally talking it out and becoming stronger as a couple by the end of it. i can see how some people wouldn't like this show seeing how they're kinda shy about kissing and everything and it might be moving at a slower pace compared to some other popular bls releasing rn and the reactions can be a bit over the top and overly comedic BUT!! i am loving this so far, it's honestly the perfect blend of cute and realistic communication, squashing all the conflicts in one episode, while other shows would drag them out for 4 episodes
