Yes, at this age it makes a huge difference. When I was 26 (I'm a woman), some 20-years old was hitting on me, and it didn't make sense to me, it would be only worse if it was 17-23.

Exactly, they could have make her only 3 years older and it would be a different story, she could attend college. I don't understand, why make her a school girl, if not for the weird kink. It was just unnecessary for the plot.

It's like chips, not healthy, but brings pleasure. Kind of embarrassing to watch, but I can't stop. Probably just because Dori is such a cutie there. I think it was made purely to be enjoyed by female fans. I don't know if he's a famous actor, I haven't watched many J-dramas yet, but I'd watch everything where he's the main lead.
