OMG, we’re 4 out of 5 the same! I need to add you as a friend because we have such similar taste. The only difference is Thai BLs, I loved Reset too, but for me, Khemjira takes the top spot

What’s yours for 2025?

13 minutes to be exact.

Episodes 1 and 2 were both 13 minutes, so it’s obvious Episode 3 will be 13 minutes as well. It’ll most likely stay at 13 minutes all the way through to Episode 10.

I loved Sammy Children Day as well. It wasn’t a Hong Kong production though. The actors are from Mainland China, and their original Mandarin voices were dubbed into Cantonese.

Watch Payback. I absolutely love it. It is one of the highest rated BLs right now, and episode 8 has the best love scene I have ever seen in any BL.

I was disappointed with Knot because I loved ABO Desire and My Stubborn, so my expectations were really high. Knot episode 3 was so boring, hopefully will improve.

I also really enjoyed Bittersweet Love.

Secret Relationships is one of my favourite Korean BLs, and now he’s friends with my current favourite Thai BL, Payback. I’m so happy! Imagine them talking about their shows with each other.

The numbers you’re referring to are only from MDL, and many people don’t update their ratings there. The official iQIYI page for this series shows that it’s currently the second highest rated show on the platform. A lot of people also watch it illegally, so those views don’t count, but it’s still one of the top shows on iQIYI right now.
Back then, iQIYI didn’t even have an LGBT tab. After the success of KinnPorsche, they finally added one. I’m just so glad Payback is dominating the platform right now and outperforming other dramas, including Overdo, a straight Chinese series starring Zhang Ling He.

I’m so disappointed, there hasn’t been any Taiwanese BL this year.
I’ve only watched two so far, Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars and Smile After Tears. Honestly, Smile After Tears was awful.
I really wish we had more Taiwanese BL. It feels like such a drought at the moment.

It’s so short I can even watch it on my lunch break. Episode 3 was so cute. I’m glad Okumi Hideaki was so honest and open about his late wife. I guess he’s bisexual. The age gap, the height difference, and now the workplace dynamic with one being the CEO and the other a new employee. Japanese BL always hits differently.
