Those moments showed why she means the world to him. When she was kidnapped, it made complete sense that he would do whatever it takes to find her.
The flashbacks were so meaningful. Without them, this show would not have had the same emotional impact or been nearly as great.
If you watch Western movies, the leads can fall in love in a few minutes and have a whole family by the end of a two hour film. Here we have eight episodes, and the main focus is revenge, not romance.
I did see the romance between Sun and Jay, but it was shown in a much more subtle way. Both of them are driven by revenge. Sun wants justice for his brother and mother, while Jay wants revenge for his own mother. They first met on the rooftop, and maybe that was love at first sight. Later, Jay discovers that Sun was actually the teddy bear he spent the night with years ago, so maybe those feelings started back then.
In episode 8, Jay was the one who told Sun to finally let go, to cry, and to stop carrying the weight of his mother and brother’s deaths all by himself. Jay was always there for Sun emotionally, and to me, that is also a form of love.
I understand why you feel the romance wasn’t obvious, and everyone will interpret it differently. For me, that’s what made this series stand out. If it had been a typical BL focused on romance from the beginning, it would have been far less interesting. Love doesn’t always have to be loud or expressed in the same way. It can develop through shared pain, trust, and being there for each other.
These days I’m much more into Chinese BL. Only a few Thai BLs really manage to grab my attention, and this is one of them.
In contrast, Pin in Love in the Moonlight knew about Prince Saenkaew and Sasin's feelings for each other, yet still pushed the marriage forward.
I really enjoy seeing these two different perspectives because neither character is written as completely right or wrong. It's one of the reasons these series are so engaging and addictive to watch.
It's so hard to find a series that delivers both a strong, engaging plot and genuinely great NC scenes, but this series absolutely delivers on both, making it one of the most complete BLs I've ever watched.
I need every one of those digusting men to face real consequences for what they've done. They deserve to be arrested, held accountable, and never be allowed to abuse their power again. People who exploit vulnerable young artists should never get away with it.
Just imagine being a young person with your whole life ahead of you. You're finally getting the chance to pursue your dream career, only to realize that the people you trusted are manipulating and controlling you. You're scared, trapped, and feel like speaking up could cost you everything. They put a gun to your head and forced you to do it. No one should ever have to experience that. It made me so angry watching it unfold, and I just want to see justice served.
Every episode has been so good, and I’m completely addicted. There are only three episodes left, and I honestly don’t want it to end.
I really feel sorry for everyone in the USA and Canada, where many shows air at 4 or 5 AM. Are you even awake at that time? I honestly don’t know how you survive watching all those intense and hot scenes so early in the morning. I would need a lot of coffee to handle that 😂
"Eat what?" he replied.
The question sounded simple, but the way he said it carried a quiet challenge. His gaze stayed fixed on Xiao Fan, as if the prey had suddenly turned around to face the predator, waiting to see who would give in first.
Later, at the kitchen sink, Xiao Fan was washing the dishes, lost in the small routine of the moment. The sound of running water filled the quiet kitchen until Lu Qing walked over.
This time, he truly went after his prey.
He closed the distance between them and lifted Xiao Fan onto the kitchen counter. Their eyes met again, holding all the things they had left unsaid. Then Lu Qing slowly kissed his lips, lingering with tenderness before moving down to his neck.
It was a simple scene, just a kitchen, a sink full of dishes, and two people drawn toward each other. Yet in that quiet moment, the playful chase between them became something deeper, something filled with affection, desire, and the kind of connection that made Episdoe 6 feel unforgettable.
Sometimes, people need to confront their fears. As Gao Zhun said, he has nightmares about being sexually assaulted, and he believed that if Dr. Fang Chi did it, it would cure him. I don't agree with that technique, but if it truly worked to get rid of Gao Zhun's nightmares and trauma, and he was the one who initiated it and wanted it, I don't see anything wrong with his willingness to try it.
However, in a real therapeutic setting, this would still be considered unethical because a therapist cannot engage in sexual acts with a patient, regardless of the patient's consent.
