I’ve noticed in a lot of Thai high school and university BLs that students are always drinking colourful iced drinks. Are these mostly soft drinks or sweet drinks?
I know Thailand is hot, but it seems like they’re drinking them all the time. It made me curious because in Australia, soft drinks are banned in schools for health reasons.
Can any Thai students confirm if this is actually common in real life, or is it just something that shows up a lot in dramas?
You probably wouldn’t go to a place with consistently 1 star reviews. Places with 4 to 5 stars are naturally more appealing.
I know MDL isn’t completely accurate and everyone’s taste is different, but it’s still a useful indicator. That’s why most people are more likely to watch a show rated 8 to 9 than one rated 5 to 6.
That said, I’ve also found some hidden gems in the 7s that I ended up enjoying more than some 8 + rated shows.

I love the time travel genre, and so far I Feel You Linger in the Air is still the best one for me. It was absolutely top notch. You should definitely watch the sequel, Scent of Memory, where Yai travels to the modern world. It’s a great way to finish the story, especially since you mentioned you never really got the closure you wanted from the original series.
After that, we got I’m the Most Beautiful Count and Love Upon a Time. They’re both okay, but for me they don’t come close to I Feel You Linger in the Air.
I was also going to mention what you said about August and Leng. I really feel for both of them because of what happened with their previous roles. August was supposed to be in Addicted 2, and Leng was supposed to be paired with Ohm in Only Friends, but neither project worked out. That’s another reason I want to support both of these actors.
I was going to write all of this, but you were one step ahead of me.
In Fourever You, they met at a gaming café and North was a gamer throughout both seasons. I was hoping to see them challenge themselves with something completely different, like a crime thriller, office workplace or a historical drama, instead of another gaming and streamer themed series.
I’ll definitely still be watching to support them because I love them as a pairing, I just wish it had been a different genre.
Instead of saying, “I like you,” with words that have been said countless times before, he said, “I walked over 400 steps following you from the hotpot.”
Those teary eyes carried every unspoken feeling, every yearned-for moment, every ounce of love he could never put into words. Before anything else could be said, Zhang Zhun stepped forward and kissed him.
It was such a quiet, simple moment, yet it carried more emotion than a thousand love confessions ever could. It is not only one of my favourite scenes in this series, but one of the most unforgettable kissing scenes I have ever watched in any drama.
After 11 years apart, they finally let all those emotions out through a kiss. Every second carried the weight of the years they lost, the longing they kept hidden, and the love they never stopped holding onto. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, and so full of pain all at once. My heart broke for everything they had to endure before they could finally be together.
